Why do you think this person will make a good U.S.C member: He is trusted, well known and has a strong opinion that will be useful in the USC EDIT: He has also helped me personally a lot and I am sure he does the same to many other members.

 

You may nominate as many people as you wish, they will all appear on the vote, and if the vote is full, members with the most nominations will be chosen above those with fewer nominations.

Marrow is a very helpful member to the site. He is always doing what he can to help others and doing his best to contribute in whatever way possible.

So this is all pretty much like a union of sythe lol.
So when somone is unfairly banned they will give the staff word?

 

Haha. That is one function, yes. But I believe that we extend farther than just that sort of thing.

That can be one thing that is done. One goal of the commitee is to stop unneeded drama and resolve issues peacfully between the staff and users so that both sides are happy with the outcome. If people believe someone is unfairly banned, anyone can contact any member of the U.S.C. (once its up and running) to enlist help or advice.

I second this aswell, Brendan would be great to have on a team such as this.

 

As a note. Nominations and seconding them really only counts in the case of a tie as in the end the team will be selected by the users in a vote.

Although I don't know him personally, or ever had any sort of encounter with him, from what I've seen around the forums (Community & User Educator forums in general) he's very helpful and active, and would no doubt make a great addition to the USC.


Also, very best of luck getting this up and running, would love to see it go well, and I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, just to watch things progress.

He's trustworthy, respectable, and has experienced the staff/user system at all levels, thus would be an irreplaceable asset to this group.

Can you give me a situation in which a member of the community would need you. I'm having trouble grasping the concept of a middleman for communication.

Why?

He's really good at stuff around here and helps a lot. He also is really good at runescape and we all can adore that.

 

Well, a banned member might have a hard time talking to the staff members involved with their banning. Another type deal is if a moderator does something to a user that isn't good and instead of causing a ton of drama with a public complaint, the user could PM a U.S.C. member and try to resolve the issue without any drama taking place in a nice manner.
