Runescape now has ads on login...

The ads are only for ftp accounts it used to be that p2p accounts got ads but jagex removed this.

 

Haven't seen this before, but either way if you were one of the Jagex employees you would do something to gain Revenue from your game.

 

I haven't gotten an ad, and I'm f2p. Weird Surely adblock would stop these though?

 

Yeah, I can remember they used to use these maybe 2-3 years ago? But F2Pers complained so much they were removed.

With the Bot Nuke causing a fair amount of people to cancel there memberships, Jagex needed a way to recover that lost cash somehow, and personally I don't have a problem with these ads for F2Pers.

 

This is nothing against any of you I assure you. But I've been playing since the end RSC, and I've seen these ads before in the early days of RS2.
