Well.. I find it hard to:
    Talk to new people
Tell people who are in my way to move
Talk to people for long periods of time - some people a short time is hard

Am I the only one who has little things like this? If you guys can relate, post some social issues you have. I'd like to know.

Yea, but it's not that big of a deal. If i'm trying to talk to someone new, I try to find the best time possible. If I don't think it'll go over good, i'll wait. Conversations, to me, aren't something I can just start on the dot and start talking.

When you think about it, it's really not shit.

Everyone is a bit shy, happens to me to. As you grow older you'll become more confident.

I don't find it hard to talk to people at all. You just need to get over the fear.

I struggle with number 1 too, but once we've broken the ice generally everything becomes okay. When talking to someone new, I try and find out something we have in common, and then speak about that for some time.

I only find it hard to talk to dumb people, because I have to dumb down what I say so much that it becomes an incredible challenge to keep a conversation with them. This is especially annoying when my friends invite stupid girls to hang out with us >.> With smart people talking isn't so much of an issue.

Everybody suffers these illnesses throughout their life. The best way to get over it is to simply start talking to more people, usually if you have a job where you are talking to people or dealing with customers constantly you will get over this.

I only have the first and third.

I'm usually afraid of talking to people, for reasons unknown to everyone, including me.

I somehow connect with people better if I've talked to them over msn. Like, there's this girl I really like from my school. But when I meet her in school and talk, I only can keep up the conversation for a few minutes before it lapses into an awkward silence. However, on msn, I can chat with her for hours.

No idea why it happens, it just happens. Who am I to question the whys and wherefores of the universe?

1 - Choose your moment and work around something you both enjoy
2 - Don't be shy about this, be firm, they'll get the message
3 - Talking to people for long periods of time is natural to me now, i almost talk too much, what do you struggle about? - what to talk about or the actual talking aspect.

I suggest you look more into this, if you genuinly are struggling.

I guess I had this feeling before when I was depressed, they put me on drugs and I didn't give a damn about anyone. I quit taking them and now I go to the clubs and can talk to anyone about anything.

It's hard. I'm confident in myself but I still struggle to find common grounds to talk about..

I'm generally different. I always stay within my group of friends and I can't really stand the other people. It does, however, become easier as I talk to them more on a regular basis. Eventually, I can go for hours and hours.

Also... I also find it hard to just talk about random stuff. I blank out a lot and just lose words....
