Fake Id

Dude just do a quick google search and you'll find lots of stuff on what "VTL 509-6" actually is. "VTL 509(6). Using/permitting use of another's license." It looks like it's just a $100 fine. Maybe a misdemeanor, definitely not a felony.

 

Yea I looked it up the next day after I posted that. I also have a chance to get it thrown out when I go to court, since I have a clean record.

 

haha you actually ended up getting busted, that blows. I doubt you will get it dropped but its only like 100$ fine right?

Don't worry, I'll be posting right when I get home. What's annoying me right now is the fact that the cop wrote the ticket in pencil and it's barely legible so it better be 9//20 and not 9/30...

 

Update:

Just got back from court. Was interesting. I was charged with $150 + $80 in service charges. Total fine: $230

And that's it. 0 points on my license etc. No community service or anything.

Maximum charge the Judge said I could of received was $300 + $80

 

I win.
In my country (in Europe) we get any beer when u're 16 (even the heavier ones) and vodka/whiskey etc when u're 18

I find this funny I am sorry, wouldn't duplicating your own license and modifying the birthdate and expendure date are 1 year less be a better idea? I mean, how could you possibly get caught, what would the consequences if you get caught?

 

In my opinion, the best option then is to snipe the card back from the clerk and run away as fast as you can? sorry if this has been suggested before. lol

btw: yeah that sucks, the legal drinking and alcohol buying age here is 19

 

It's very unfortunate that you got caught but now you can improve upon your method.
I'm sure you could find someone in your area that sells fake ID's.
They're not hard to make and some people are very skilled at making them.
