Your First Trade on Sythe

What was your first trade on Sythe? When did it take place? Did it go well, and who did you trade with?

Mine:

My first trade was on my first day on the site (Feb 2, 2007). I was trying to sell some gold I had left on a mule. I had a Santa Hat, a Mask and some other stuff. Some guy not registered on Sythe came on my MSN and offered a ridiculously high price, and wanted to go first via Paypal.

He ended up being a notorious frauder named Tarchy. I was charged back about 1 month later. It taught me right away to be careful and not to be greedy when selling. Expensive lesson, but a lesson learned nonetheless!

 

My first trade was 10m from you. it was back before the free-trade update when you had to give passwords etc so I was a bit scared but it went smoothly.

I got scammed a few days later, I very stupidly didn't ask for a PM from an imposter when I was selling junk.

Took a break from sythe and RS but came back after the bot nuke, I feel more "street-wise " now.

Looking to open some sort of shop in the near future

 

Mine was few days ago, and the kid went first to me for 215M for my World Of Warcraft account everything went great ad now I have done some more trades and donated to sythe thought it was going good then got charged back $82 (126M) that I sold someone and it sucks. trying to get off the ground with sales and this kids tripping me on the way to the top. ^_^

 

From my vouches it seems my first trades were sales of supplies for the first Double XP weekend. My first serious sale over $100 was for Dungeoneering XP back when I had a shop.

 

I got scammed for a low level pure that my friend had given me. Kind of sucked, but I was too young to really know how things worked.

 

Got scammed for 50 cents when I first joined it was back when selling junk was big, I didn't really care but I forgot the guys name

 

The Evil Filipino, was gonna sell him 30m for $16.5, in 3 increments, I gave 10m, he gave $5.50, I gave another 10m, he logs bye bye, scammed...

My first successful trade was for a G2H pure which I lost the G2H on next day >.>

 

My first trade on sythe was with rssalesguy on November 22nd, 2010. I was paying $144 for 120m+12m bonus via PP. I got scammed lol, woohoo

Luckily I was able to chargeback after my dad spent HOURS on the phone with Paypal in January (I was to scared to admit to him that I was scammed until then), but as a result my dad no longer trusts internet sellers period so I have to do a lot of convincing whenever I buy gold nowadays.

 

I bought a low level ancient pure off Jaamal called Maximusthe_G for around 2m.
I was scammed.

 

My first one was buying a account with a easter ring, tarde went perfectly, gave me confidence, so bought a account for 60m and it got recovered

 

From my vouches, this seems to be it.

First trade was with smitty260. Paid him $10 through paypal for mining skiller, trade went fine

 

Bought 13m gold from R2Pleasent for like $1.7/m. Ordered it before I went to bed and R2 transferred it by the time I woke up.

 

When I first joined I sold 500k WoW gold for 1.1k to some random person on here. I was new to paypal, they ended up charging back almost right away after receiving the gp.

My first RS related sale was when I sold a f2p miner.

Went first on buying a $110 pumpkin from driveahonda. Still would trust him with my life.

 

My first is actually still going through right now, even though ive completed some, Im still waiting for my guy to recieve his psp/itouch, and for me to recieve my 3ds and game. All ready will have a 200$ trade done when its finally done with

 

I got scammed on my first trade too R2.

Lost 500m to Trinityy who appeared really trusted to someone new like I was. Apparently, he went on a scamming spree and got a bunch of other people within the span of an hour or two for like 1.5b.

It cost me a lot, but taught me a valuable lesson.
