Hiring a Developer for a Custom E-Commerce Website [NOT RS RELATED!] | $500 Budget

I’m looking to hire a skilled and experienced web developer to create a custom e-commerce website tailored to my specific needs. The site will primarily focus on selling physical products, so it must be robust, secure, and easy to manage.

Below are the key details and requirements for the project:

Requirements

User-Friendly Back-End:

• The website must have an intuitive administrative panel for managing products, categories, orders, and customer information without requiring advanced technical skills.
• Each of my businesses usually only deal with around 10-20 different products within 2-3 categories. Adding new products (including product image) must be easy, as my company often pilot new models of products and also list seasonal products.

Customer Information Handling:

• The site should securely collect and store customer details, including delivery addresses.
• Compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) is essential.

Payment Processor Integration:

• Integration with a reliable payment processor (e.g., PayOp, etc.) to securely handle transactions.
• Support for me to easily connect/disconnect from said processor easily is a bonus.

Responsive Design:
The website must be mobile-friendly and work seamlessly across all devices and browsers. This will be very important and I will be testing the site as many of my customers purchase from their phone.

Performance and Security:
Fast loading times and robust security features to protect user data and prevent attacks.


Additional Features (Optional but Preferred):

• Inventory management system.
• Basic SEO optimization.
• Customer accounts with order history tracking.
• Ability for me to launch clones of the website under different brand names.

Budget

I have a maximum budget of $500 for this project. I expect high-quality work that meets professional standards within this budget.


Developer Requirements

• A patient individual that can communicate in a polite and mature manner.
• To be considered for this project, you must have a portfolio showcasing your previous work. Please include links to relevant projects that highlight your skills and experience in e-commerce development.
• Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Additional Information

• I’m open to discussing specific tools, frameworks, or platforms for the site (e.g., OpenCart, WooCommerce, custom builds, etc.).
• Timelines and milestones can be agreed upon once I’ve selected a developer.
• Clear communication and regular updates throughout the project are essential.
