Transfer through Ge.

I see people Trying to sell guides for this or only give to people with a certain amount of posts.

The concept is that in runescape there are many items that no one buys because they are considered junk and useless.
Items such as.
Addy throwing darts (p)
Javelins.
some types of bow that low lvls use for fletching.
some unstrung bows.
alot of other things moderatly price that u can buy easily for minimum.

Basically buyer buys an amount of an item for the min price. and sell to buyer through trade to make an amount of money. The seller puts the items back on at minimum so eventually as u do multiple swaps of the items the seller will sell the items back to the buyer through ge at minimum and the seller will only lose the difference.

You need around 1m+ to do this effectively.

example. buyer buys 5k of item at minimum say 200gp is minimum.
the buyer then trades the 5k of the item they bought with the seller. and trade them to the seller for 210 ea. they buyer makes 50k from this. the seller puts the item back on the ge at minimum while the buyer buys 5k more of the item. The then redo the process. and if the seller always use the same item they will only lose the amount that the buyer profited.

Let me clarify that for those who need a plainer picture:

Main = account transfering (giving) the gold.
Receiver = account getting the gold.

1) Receiver buys junk (adam p++ arrows, willow longbows, etc.) with a market value of 1 million at minimum price (950,000) off the Grand Exchange.

2) Reciever sells the junk to the Main for 1,000,000.

3) Main now puts the junk back on the Grand Exchange for the minimimum price (950,000).

Then it's repeated.

The idea is that the Second Account keeps selling junk to the Main through the Grand Exchange for minimum and keeps buying it back in private from the Main for market price, for a 5% profit, or 50k per 950k.


Well, that SOUNDS great, but it doesn't work, and there are a lot of reasons why. Here are the main two.

The lesser of the two reasons is that you can only buy or sell 100 of most items on the Grand Exchange (although some items have higher limits and a very few have lower limits) in four hours. So you'd have to find lots of differend kinds of junk.

The most important reason is this: because junk items don't sell (I had 1k adam(p+) arrows at minimum for 24 hours once and never sold a one---I ended up doing the Party Room to get rid of them), there are a LOT of people selling a LOT of them at minimum price on the Grand Exchange. So when the Main puts the item back up for sale on the Grand Exchange, he/she has to get in line with a gazillion other people who have the same item for sale at minimum. The Receiver can certainly buy another 950,000 worth of the item at minimum----there will be plenty----but the Main may only get a few thousand of that ----or maybe none, as everybody else's offers have to be filled too.

So even if you find something that nobody else is trading, you still run into the X number in 4 hours limit.

Then there's Good Old Nosy In-Everybody's-Business Jagex. It's not unheard of for them to spot such activity, and if they do, the first thing that will come to the Tech's mind is "Real World Trading", and if you're banned for that, you can put "Howdy Doody hates woodpeckers" in your appeal, because it's going to be denied anyway.

Now we do appreciate Josh5498 giving this guide away, so that others don't buy it. Also, I hope he doesn't get an infraction/ban for it, because 1) He's not leaking an original guide---this has appeared on many websites, and 2) The method doesn't work, so people who might have paid for it will be saving their money.

 

I never said that it was effiecent i was just explaining how it works.

Limit for using armor is 100 every 4 hours and ammo is 10k.

If u wanted to do this u'd need to use many different types of junk items.

 

im pretty sure you missed out ALOT of details. because the minimum amount of bh, is the same as the trade limit.. so your not making any money at all.

for this to work, you'll need to buy at lowest. and every1 sells junk for lowest, so the seller wont buy the buyers junk.

this will only work with something outrageously stupid that no1 needs at all. like 1000m needles, but ppl sell them to lol.

you didnt understand. The buyer buys on ge FOR LOWEST. And when they trade it to the seller the seller has to pay MEDIUM price for it Because its through trade.

 

It does actually work let me just explain it more:

Basically the person A buys junk for minimum price [buys probably instantly] then he sells the junk to person B for the market price

It's actually a very easy way to rwt

wait listen to me.. if u sell addy darts p in the g.e wont u buy from some other players... like i just tried to buy 100 addy darts p in the g.e and it sold it to me instaltly for lowest price.. its impossible to transfer through g.e

 

yes u do but if ur always using the same items to transfer u will eventually buy it back from urself. For this to work u need to find several good items to use.
And don't tell me this doesn't work because it does i've used it before and also many gold company use this to transfer. if ur selling pins then u should use bher to transfer because its much faster then ge rwting. ge rwting can transfer slightly less then 1m an hour if u have alot of good items to use.
