Okay guys, here it is, everything you need to know about being a 1 Defence pure.

To start off, let me explain to anyone who does not what a 1 Def Pure is. A 1 Defence pure is honestly what the name itself means, a character with 1 Defence, which we all call "Pures." There are multiple types of pures, ranging from 1-20 Defence, but in this guide we will be focusing on the 1 Defence pure.

Now that we know what a pure is, how do you make the perfect 1 Defence Pure? What Quests do you need to do to make it the best it can be, and what are the requirements for the aforementioned quests.

Let's take a look at the complete Quest Guide to making a 1 Defence Pure.

To start off, the quest done by pures to wield a dragon long sword and a dragon dagger:

Lost City
Stat Requirements:
31 Crafting
36 Woodcutting​

Now, moving on in no particular order with the next quest in order to obtain, "Ava's Accumulator":

*Ava's Accumulator picks up your arrows, knives, darts, etc. for you when you range so that you don't have to keep picking it up.

Animal Magnetism
Stat Requirements:
18 Slayer
19 Crafting
30 Ranged
35 Woodcutting

Quest Requirements:
The Restless Ghost
Ernest the Chicken
Priest in Peril​

Next on the quest list for pures, we have the quest that gives the "Bearhead."

*Bearhead is a worn item on the head that gives a nice defensive bonus.

Mountain Daughter
Stat Requirement:
20 Agility
40 Woodcutting
40 Crafting
25 Fletching

Quest Requirement:
None​

Next we have the quest that gives the trademarked Prayer Books.

*There are 3 different types of prayer books: Zamorak (The most popular among pures due to attack bonus), Guthix, and Saradomin. All of which give prayer bonus, and attack, defence, or a bit of both, depending on which one you get. You'd have to fill the entire book with 4 different pages in order to get the attack or defensive bonuses.

Horror From The Deep

Stat Requirements:
35 Agility

Quest Requirements:
Barcrawl (A minigame)
-You just go to 10 separate bars, take the bartenders specialty drink, and have him sign your card.​

Next, we have the quest for Ancient Magicks.
*Ancient Magicks come in a separate spellbook, different from the one you start with and requires you to go back to the pyramid where you complete the quest in order to change it.

Desert Treasure
Stat Requirements (Includes Prequest Requirements):
10 Slayer
50 Firemaking
50 Magic
53 Thieving
10 Fletching
20 Smithing
10 Herblore


Quest Requirements:
The Digsite (25 Thieving, 10 Agility, 10 Herblore (Druidic Ritual))
The Tourist Trap (10 Fletching, 20 Smithing)
Temple of Ikov (40 Ranged, 42 Thieving)
Troll Stronghold (15 Agility)
-Death Plateau (This is where you get Climbing Boots for an added +2 strength bonus)
Priest in Peril
Waterfall Quest​

Next, we earn our Mithril Gloves.
*Mithril Gloves gives +6 attack bonus on everything but magic, and also give you a +6 strength bonus.

Quest Requirements:
Cook's Assistant
Druidic Ritual
Gertrudes Cat
Fishing Contest (10 Fishing)

Shadow of the Storm (30 Crafting)
The Golem (20 Crafting, 25 Thieving)
Demon Slayer
Big Chompy Bird Hunting (5 Fletching, 30 Cooking, 30 Ranged)

Subquest Requirements(After already having all the Quest Requirements):
Cook: 10 Cooking
Dwarf: None
Goblins:None
Evil Dave: 25 Cooking (Grown Cat helps a lot)
Pirate Pete: 31 Cooking
Ogre: 41 Cooking, 20 Firemaking

Next, we earn our Dragon Scimitars.
*Once you finish this quest, you cannot go back to ape atoll, meaning you CANNOT train range by chinning in the tunnel.
***BE CAREFUL NOT TO TALK TO DAERO AT THE END OF THE QUEST BECAUSE HE GIVES OUT DEFENCE EXPERIENCE.

Monkey Madness
Stat Requirements:
25 Agility

Quest Requirements:
The Grand Tree (25 Agility)
Tree Gnome Village​

*Again, don't talk to Daero after the quest, don't accept the experience reward.

The previous quests are the most popular items pures are able to get. I am well aware that there is a couple more to get, but I will end this here, as I rarely see pures with the other items.

You might as well throw in the stats/quests for an anchor.

 

You should also do quests for attack. Like Fight Quest, Waterfall, Vampire slayer, etc etc.
