    The Epic Pure Guide

    UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Hello, and welcome to "The Epic Pure Guide". In this guide I will teach you how to successfully create and use multiple types of pures. I will explain the process of making Initiate (20 Defence), Tribrid (high melee, range, mage, and defence), Tank (high Defence hybrid), Strength (1 Defence hybrid/tribrid), Void Pure (42 Defence), and Zerker Pures (45 Defence). To follow this guide, it takes lots commitment and to most successfully use this guide, you should follow it from the beginning or do the best you can. Also, you may think the guides look similar in the beginning.. Well, all pures have to start somewhere =P.

    I. What is an Initiate Pure?

First off, what is an "initiate pure"? An initiate pure is a hybrid pure with exactly 20 Defence. They get the name "initiate pure" because 20 Defence is the level required to use the Initiate Armor set. They are a common type of pure because in order to achieve Rune RFD gloves, you must do nature spirit, which gives defence xp.

The Initiate Pure I'll teach you to make's stats will be around:

    75 Attack
    90+ Strength
    20 Defence
    99 Hitpoints
    90+ Ranged
    94+ Magic
    52 Prayer

    99 Hunter
    Around 65 Agility

The Average (High-Leveled) Initiate Pure would look something like:

    II. Getting Started…

First things first, you should choose a good name. No names with 1337 speak or numbers. I suggest spaced names with "Initiate" or "Pk", or even "Power" in them. Make sure you choose a name you are fond of, because you will be spending lots of time on your account and you wouldn't want to have a name you don't like. Now, once you log in, you will be on Tutorial Island. Make your avatar look the way you like, and enter the first tutorial. If you have had multiple RuneScape accounts in the past, you can skip the conversations, but I suggest getting all stats to 3, as it will be very useful later. Once you get to the combat tutor, Vanakka, you should get Attack and Strength to 3 – contrary to popular belief, you can't die in the Rat Cages, so no need to stock up on food. I'd also get Ranged and Magic to 3. As for Defence, DO NOT touch it, as you will NEVER train it, except through quests. Now, use the Home Teleport spell, and you are in the great city of Lumbridge.

    III. Welcome to RuneScape!

Welcome to RuneScape! Now that your in the large realm of Geilnor, you should head slightly north to a small house with a ladder in it. Go down the ladder, and speak to the knight. Talk to him and after a minute; he will give you two experience lamps. Use both of these on the skill of your choice, however, Prayer is suggested as quests don't give you all the experience to 52, and it is pretty costly. Now, go north to the bridge north of the furnace and cross it. Now, go north even more and head to the cows.Equip your Shortbow and Bronze Arrows and begin firing at the cows. Pick up your arrows you use and hides if you wish to keep them (100 gp each). Continue firing until you run out of arrows are around 4 or 5 Ranged. Now begin casting the spell 'Confuse' on the cows. Repeat this until you run out of runes Body Runes, at which point you should cast Water Strike. Once you are out of runes, you should be about 5 Magic.

    The Epic Pure Guide

good guide, I'm getting a so called 'strength pure' up, but I like to call it 1 def pure more, because it's not just str pure where you get high str and nothing else but I'm balancing mage / ranged / str and keeping 60 att as well as 1 def :)

I'm currently in a middle of 3rd week of training, stats are:
60 att, 63 str, 70 ranged, 70 mage, 44 pray, 58 hp, 41 slay, all major quests that I can do are done :)

Thanks guys for the responses.. By the way.. The guide is NOWHERE near done.. Should be about 20-30 sections, per pure type.

Perc - Typically, my favorite is a Tribrid Pure.

Kovu Fat - Thanks, and theres a lot more to come :p.

Djoscardd - I know sort of contradicts itself, but a Strength Pure is the name its had since the Wilderness and its what most people call it now.

Alright, here is some things you should change.

    It's not a "TRIBRID" It's a "HYBRID"

There is no such thing as a tank PURe, it's just TANK. The blue font being the same as Sythe skin really hurts the eyes, if you could use a different colour that'd be great.

Ok, first, thanks for reading my thread, but actually, Hybrid means two attacking styles, and Tribrid means three. The pure I describe uses Melee, Magic, and Ranged, so it is a Tribrid. A Tank would be a hybrid since it only uses Ranged and Magic. Also, I know its just a tank, not pure, but since this is a Pure thread, I just added that along so it sounds better.

Good guide, change the colour of some text to make it lighter, it's hard to read.
