Simple ranging guide, with profit!

Hello, my name is luring2live and I don't do many guides so please no flaming. This is going to be a nice and short guide on how to level your range and get a bit of a profit. I'm also pretty sure this is well known, but it is still pretty good.

Tired of having to go swarm to pick up your arrows and out comes someone to steal the guy you've been attacking? IT ENDS HERE!

To begin the guide I will start with the requirements you need:
- 40 range is required.
- a bow
- money (try having around 50k-100k saves some hassle)

process:

First head down to good old camelot and walk west to the ranging guild, yes that's right good old ranging guild.
Once you've reached the guild, go up to the minigame and constantly play it over and over. Although this can get boring, randoms don't happen very often. I've been doing this for about 4 hours and I've only got 2 randoms.
Now that you have learned what to do, I'll show you the profit.

You will get around 28330 exp per hour.

To play the game you need to pay 200gp each time. He will than give you 10 bronze arrows to shoot at a target, and when you hit the target you will be scored on whether you hit a: Bullseye is 100, than 50, 30, 20, 10, and you can also miss (doesn't happen too often). You usually get around 50-60 archery tickets per play. Now this is where the magic happens.

It takes 2k tickets to purchase 50 rune arrows or you can sell the archery tickets for a better profit.

2k archery tickets= 28000

36 times usually needed to play for the 2k archery tickets (this may vary) (200 each time)= 7200

28000-7200= 20800.

Different method with less profit (rune arrows). This could be just for the rune arrows itself.

Now, I started out with 100k gp (now at 39k with 450 rune arrows).

450*229= 103050

103050-69000= 34050
this means every 18000 archery tickets, I get a 34k profit. I know what your thinking, wow amazing it's 34k -.-...

450 rune arrows is the same as 18000 archery tickets (not in price, lol)
If you sell the archery tickets you get 252k. If you sell the arrows you get 103k.

252000-69000= 183000 profit if you sell tickets.
103050-69000= 34050 profit if you sell rune arrows.


Benefits:

-Low random ratio.
-It's profitable.
-Decent exp rate.
-Rune arrows sell fast at ge.

Downfall:

-There are better ways out there.
-This is made for more of a poorer person.
-This is made for a medium level ranger (40-70), maybe higher.
-It can get lonely.

EDIT:
The tickets are worth 13 - 15 each, And according to the grand exchange it is raising. Which means people do buy it.
So isn't it smarter to sell the tickets instead of the arrows?

Acutally, I think your corrent, lol. I was only getting the rune arrows becuase I needed them. So, I decide to only see if rune arrows would work.

 

The old range guild is the one near camalot right? And nice guide im gonna try it out

 

K, I'm on world 159. Watch out if you come though, pvp world (doesn't affect inside the guild).

Np, I've added a bit more if you are in for the profit. Not most are though, but since it's a lot harder to get money on your pures. This should be a great start.

 

Lol, My friend got from level 40-90 range from that. All through summer and made a lot off of rune arrows.

 

Yeah, lol. The only thing is that you HAVE to takes breaks and set your goals low. It becomes too boring in my opinion, but it's decent and some people might actually like it.

Go for it anthrax, but can you put that I created the method?

 

Theres a RSbot script floating around somewhere that uses this method and buys knives or something from the guild with the tickets, so its obviously not a bad method
