    Should Chinchompas Be Lootable?

Hey guys what's up, basically I just lost quite a fair ammount of red chins. This didn't effect me an awful lot, however, it was down to disconnection. My problem is this; if Jagex are going to make chinchompa's 'runaway' upon death, then people that disconnect and have spent there bank on chins and forget to withdraw only 3-5k at a time. This is a concern to me as I have realised that many people that may be new or unaware of chins running-away upon drop could lose a real lot of money. In this instance I was glad that chins were not lootable as some randy would have looted 12m worth of chins. Due to me not getting there in time.

Comment your opinions below guys! :)

no, they're living creatures so if you drop them or if you die.. them running away would make sense and makes it more realistic

I understand this, but making the game more enjoyable is surely more important than realism though? Just my train of thought man! :)

realistic? so being able to carry 50k chins is "realistic"? :p but yeah it does make sense that they run away when you die.

    Should Chinchompas Be Lootable?

The first time I discovered chins simply "ran away" when you dropped them, was when I was literally like 150k to 99 ranged. I made it a habit to only bring 2-3k chins out of the bank for every trip, but had never died at Ape Atol. However, right before 99 ranged I was chinning with a few other guys on the same spot and we were all chatting and having a good times.

As a result, my prayer dropped and I didn't notice I was being killed, and sure enough I died, returned to the spot to get my loot, and realized that all my chins had ran away. I was super pissed because I was also broke from buying 99 ranged, so I had to borrow a few mil from a friend to get that last 150k exp

Off-Topic: I think that for as long as you are not able to drop your chins ingame because they "run away", I think Jagex should make a really bad ass animation when you drop a big pile of chins where they all run away and scatter in all directions. I know it's a pretty stupid idea, but it would at least be a bit more realistic and would be funny for the people around "that guy" who drops his entire pile of chins.

i think its dumb how they run away,i would rather just have them be able to be dropped, who cares about being realistic when nothing else on runescape realistic.

    Should Chinchompas Be Lootable?

Yes. Because Chinchompas are living creatures that you hunt & catch, when they are dropped on the ground (including when you die and drop them inadvertently), they will run away.

This makes chinning very dangerous if you are not paying attention and you die, as you will lose all your chins. You should never bring more than a few thousand at any one time in case this happens.
