Hi lads,

because of the big amount of private messages and threads across the Forum about "How to setup a VULTR VPS correct", i decided to write a short tutorial to get your server running.

What is a VPS?

VPS stands for virtual private server, it is a server which you can access with your own computer over remote control (integrated in any windows version)
You rent those servers from big server farms.
This server runs 24/7, even when you shut down your own computer, the server still runs.


Do I need a VPS?

Do you:

(A) Have a relatively high ping to the EA servers? (everything above 70ms is considered as high)
(B) Have a problem with leaving your computer on 24/7?
© Have a slow PC with not much RAM? (You need atleast 4 GB RAM to run a few instances on your home PC)

If some Questions applies to you, a VPS could be solving your Problems.

What VPS do i recommend?

I tested 3 different Provider and VULTR gave me the best perfomance and support of all of those.
This is what VULTR offers to you:

You can choose your server with the Location in London! The FUT EA Servers are in Great Britain. This gives you a 2ms-4ms to the server!
You dont need to send copys of your IDs / Passport / Drivers license for an identity check.
You can Setup the Server on the fly! As many as You want! All in one control terminal over the Website!



Setup your VPS:

Step 1: Register over this Link.

Step 2: Create a Login.



Step 3: Fund at least 10$ in your Account (Via Paypal Credit Card or BitCoin) and hit the "+" sign to open a new Server.

You need to fund 10 $ atleast for getting the 20$ extra cash. VULTR also charges you in realtime, and not with a monthly bill. They show you the cost per hour and reduces the amount from your virtual wallet on VULTR. This make it easy for you to pay the Server. You can add more whenever you want. Easiest method for payments in my opinion



Step 4: Choose the correct Server.

You need to Choose a Virtual Cloud Compute Instance (VC2), with the Server Location in LONDON!



After that you choose server Server Type: 64bit OS and Windows! You can also choose between 2 Server Sizes with:

a) 45 GB SSD / 2 CPU / 2048 MB Memory / 3000GB Bandwith <- This allows you to run atleast 25 bots/accounts

b) 90 GB SSD / 4 CPU / 4096 MB Memory / 4000GB Bandwith <- This allows you to run atleast 50 bots/accounts



Step 5: Addition features and deploy.

You do not need any features really. You can give it your own name if you want. After that you hit on DEPLOY NOW



Step 6: Log in in onto the Server.

You do now see your new Server in the "Server" Section. It takes a few minutes until your Server is running. When you see the Server in your Serverlist, go on the dots and click Server Details


You will see now the Ip / User / Password and other important information about your Server



Copy the Password and Username and use the Remote Desktop Connection on your Windows Computer you will find it if you search for it in the Search Function of Windows



Login with your Credentials and you should get a new Window with the Desktop of your NEW OWN VPS!

If you managed to get to this point, you just can use your VPS now as any other normal computer. You can access ultimatebot.net from there via the Internet Explorer and Download the UltimateBot files. You can also copy and paste files from your PC into your New VPS. It is really easy now to set them up.
