    Context:
    Initially the conversation began when I came across his PlayerAuctions sale page for a TL 1833 RuneScape account. The conversation then moved on to Sythe private messaging in an effort to make the transaction direct through Bitcoin to avoid USD exchange rate (as Im Canadian) and the site fees.

(It is now since been recovered making eligible however)

I ask him back for BTC (original payment method) and he says it is too hard for him to obtain.

Having my social network tied to my RuneScape account, I managed to still be able to login on the RS site through Facebook and tried to change the details but was unsuccessful.     Conversation Pic 34: http://prntscr.com/lrtglz --> Finally he says he will refund me after 3 days the full amount of $260 USD after he first attempts recovering it --> Keep in mind if he is successful in his attempt I am not interested any further in the account due to the high potential risk of sustainability.

    I apologize for a lot of screenshots, but knowing the nature of this market haven playing this game for years some people end up trying to really swindle you. I have had many bad experiences, so I feel I have to really nail it to the head to not have any cause for speculation or loopholes with everything being clearly placed. After all I have paid $450 CAD after fees for the account, and have also spent money on items in game with gold which I am at this point incurring as a sunk cost.

    I am keeping this report open to have administrator enforcement on the deal to have a refund within 3 days, also given the nature of the sellers unpredictability and the lack of duty of care that should be owed within our transactions relationship.

    Not sure how PA rules apply to sythe rules, however i would like to throw in this is 100% against their TOS giving off-site contact information in general, which results in fines, and doing the deals off site goes a bit further in the rule breaking.

    Generally fines for this are 150$+, as the accounts and transactions cannot go through the investigation system through the PA platform.

    He told me to search up his username on PA messaging portal to do the deal here on Sythe. After the conversation moved to Sythe, we began and conducted the entire transaction on this platform. Im not sure about his obligations to PA as a seller or what the repercussions are, but thats a separate matter on its own.

    If a user breaks TOS of OSbot, or gets off-site twc'd/dnt'd the rules apply here, figuring as PA is a much larger platform, would think their TOS apply here, so it fully applies and adds to the case; which is why it was used as input.

    Huh?... Yeah so what? Sythe going fine me $300 as well?
    This has nothing to do with Sythe but with Playerauctions. They have already warned me after this case ( this occured 5 months ago ) not that this matters.

    You are correct, and whats between you and PA is completely separate.

    This case is about a refund, however I did want to add that piece to confirm how we initially got into contact before coming to Sythe.

    Whats more uncanny than anything in this situation is that 2 weeks away from the deadline of your so called ToC of 5 months, the account is all of a sudden getting password request changes, and it eventually being recovered.

    Whats even more strange is how defensive you tried to become by turning the situation on me, and not taking any responsibility to do anything as a seller only after I had to tell you I was going to make a scam report.

    Want to keep still talking about uncanny? When I logged in through social media on the RS site and took a screenshot of the new email thats tied to it (which I posted above), as soon as I told you I logged in with Facebook, my social media association was cut off.

    Stop bullshitting buddy.

    Nothing turned on you in reality. I just doing my 72 hours to see what the eye can see and then proceed to refund you if nothing can be done for you. Everything in between is all irrelevant.
    My apologies though, this should never have happened and I only ever did a trade like this on Sythe a few times all back around the date we traded. The outlining of it all isn't exactly full proof for anybody.

    I'm guessing it's flawed so even if I get it back ripperino

    I the seller of the account is not liable for any issues that occur after the sale is complete which could include but not limited to lost password / locked account / banned account with the exception of my 5 month guarantee which in that period if you have any issues accessing the account and I am unable to recover it for you, you receive a 100% refund of ($260 USD)
    I do not support any returns.
