[Question] What Rune weapon has the strongest average hit? -Anyone know, opinions plz

Hey guys, im just wanting to know what the rune wep (e.g. rune scim, rune 2h, rune longsword, rune battleaxe, etc) has the strongest average hit?

e.g.
out of 3 hits weapon 1 hits:
10, 26, 12
so wep 1 average hit = 16

out of 3 hits weapon 2 hits:
20, 22, 18
so wep 2 average hit = 20

so wep 2 has a better average hit.

Edit* im not wanting to know what the average hit of each rune wep is, cause obviously it varies with skill levels, just wanting to know which has the better average hit in general,

Well, it depends what your using it for.

IF your using it on something with low defence definetely go with the rune scim.

If your using it on rune armour/high defence, the rune long is more accurate and hits higher than the scim, but its a little bit slower. Overall its worth it however. The battleaxe is also very accurate and hits high, but its pretty slow so if you miss a hit it takes a while to hit again.

If your pking at all use the scimitar, as the attack speed of the scimitar is the same as the eat speed (meaning that if you were fighting with a longsword/baxe they could eat faster than you hit so you wouldn't ever "combo" them).

R2H I'm not too impressed with, isn't all that great accuracy wise and uses the shield slot as well.

 

Scim deals the most damage per second. 2h is used for koing. All other rune weaps are useless

 

Rune scimitar, It has the best bonuses for the speed that it hits, then KO with you're 2h

also whats more accurate rune 2h or b axe,

also guys i dont care about speed. or a shield slot.

 

Rune 2h vs b axe:

Strength bonus= 70 - 64
Slash bonus = 69 - 48
Speed = 3-4

So 2h is much stronger but a little slower, b axe is faster and weaker but you can have a shield

Seriously just go with the advice, scim for everything, 2h for koing when pking

 

for what you asked in the thread... The highest average hit is rune 2h. Though the highest damage per minute or damage per second is rune scimitar.

 

Here's what i've come to conclude.
The most accurate: Short sword
The strongest: 2h
The best overall: scimitar

Long sword for accuracy


Personally a switch between the 2h and scim is good.

 

Most accurate and most strongest average are different.

with only 3 hits in the test rune2h will have the strongest hit because of it's strength bonus and it will be the most accurate because of it's large slash bonus HOWEVER you have to take in account variables such as weapon speed and attack mode (accurate,agressive,defensive). A rune scimitar could have 5-6 hits by the time the rune 2h hits 3 times. Also if your aware of staking you know the effect of attack mode so yeah.
