    Question about the Ring of wealth
    Ok so I've been hearing all around about these rediculous drops [3-5mil+ drops from a ring of wealth random event]

    Are these true? I looked at the new update and there isn't anything about it there it basically just says they updated the ring to show when it increases your chances of a drop. and the tele options.

    so my question is , is this just a bunch of bs from kids that think thats what the ring does so they make it all up. or is there something I missed somewhere?

    If there is something I missed or if this is what happens please provide links\pics etc. backing this up.

    Jagex did update the ring so ot tells you when the ring works and also confirmed it will help a lot at bosses e.g nex, bandos

    The RoW updated to increase the better drops more often, but I don't know how common, I havn't had any luck with a RoW yet, but I havn't killed many bosses, but as far as I know it's just made the chances a little better for drops.

    i only seem to be getting gems as my wealth drops.

    since the update my saphire and emerald collection has grown considerably. i think the only new rare drop item i've recieved is a dragon dagger from a fire giant but that's about it.

    As far as I know, they boosted it quite a bit. I'm always carrying one now :)

    No. A ring of wealth has no requirements to wear it. It also has two teleports: Miscellania and Grand Exchange.

    As to the OP, I don't believe it affects random event rewards at all.
