Are Keyboard macros considered cheating?

Well, I have had a long ass break from Runescape cheating and i have been off Runescape for 2 years now but i am just starting to get back into it.

I can't seem to find a direct answer to the question I have so I was thinking I would ask here.

Basically, I have a keyboard that allows for a setup of a macro, aka I can have it press 1-1-2 with a delay between each button to load a preset, press a teleport and then press a teleport option, Thus reducing my input from 3 to 1.

I am wondering, as I am still actively in front of the client and actually playing with the same delays as everyone else, be it i'm pressing 1 key instead of 3, is this allowed?

 

Technically Jagex allows only input that is 1 to 1 for RS3.

It is known that many high level pvmers use input that is more than a 1 to 1. For instance, their macro may be a 1 to 3 where they press one button and it does three actions in the game (Example: press z (1 input) turns on three different prayers (3 output)).

It is a grey area in the game. I think Jagex has accepted its use for RS3 and does not really ban for it.

My entire thinking is bank presets, item refills and teleports.

Its like i am sat making binding contract, with the set up i currently have i click the bank, press 1-1-2 to load the preset and teleport, use the obelisk, press 1-9 to go back to bank. 5 key presses i could easy put into 2 but with the exact same delay as 5. It just feels backwards doing it manually when i can save myself the rsi
