Question about buying runescape accounts

I have a question not sure this is the right place to post it but , I have been away from the runescape scene for a while now so i would like to know what's the safest way to purchase a runescape account, security wise to make sure it never gets recovered on you. Most trusted sellers i talk to say the accounts not theirs its someone else's and they only cover for 30 days which honestly sounds crazy to me because after 30 days if the original owner decides to take it back I'm just at a lost ? And does this jagex thing make accounts 100% safe now because people are telling me this but the forums says other wise. I also don't understand the point of them saying you don't revieve the recovery information because god forbid if anything ever happens to that person I will just be at a lost on my account if anything happens ? Someone please give me advice thank you.

the best way to buy accounts is to find reputable sellers that have been around for a while and/or have high donor status and are actively selling / growing their business. the more established sellers will offer multiple accounts, gold, services, maybe inferno capes, membership, and have tons of products available as well as promotions, giveaways, etc. these sellers generally follow the best practices to avoid bans / locks on accounts, buying from them is straightforward and you can be assured it likely won't get recovered. reselling a recovered account will likely not work out and the gp gained from exit scam generally won't compare to the amounts they make being legit, it can be quite profitable. it helps to search and do your own background check to properly vet a seller and decide whether they appear trustworthy enough or if they are a newcomer or potential scammer. you can get a feel for what kind of person they are based on the quality of their posts and their effort put into their business, scale, etc. going through vouches as well is almost important, seeing the quality of vouches and the types of trades involved. sometimes a big seller exit scams (runemetrix, shark, a few others come to mind) but it is rare. generally speaking 5+ years / high donor / and quality vouches / activity, reputation, and connections all matter.
