Player World Finder

I heard some talk about a client or plugin that would allow users to see the world of any player, whether that player has their private turned "off" or hasn't added the user. I would assume it's something along the lines of entering a player's name into a setting that would then display the world they're in. If this isn't already a thing, I'm sure people would definitely pay big money for this.

 

I'm pretty sure this doesn't exist. Unless you have something like a revenants cave scout bot that hops every world and records people's usernames and info.

 

That seems like something you’d get instabanned for using. What would you want to do with something like this exactly?

I personally have never heard of something like this.. But it is indeed intriguing.

 

You wouldn't get banned because it's most likely just an overlay of some sort which displays the world. It's used for tracking down players in the wilderness, but I'm sure there are other uses for it.

Hypothetically speaking, of course. I have yet to see anyone confirm this.

 

yep. it would pretty much be undetectable(on Jagex's side at least).

though the only way to achieve this that I can think of, is if you have some sort of "exploit" on a certain RuneScape client(e.g. osbuddy/runelite) whereas you could manage to extract information about the game locations of the users using said client.
