OsRSC - Runescape Classic Private Server

Hello, Maldesto here. I am currently an admin at osbot.org and xEnt is one of the best coders for RSC. He owned the server rscangel, the biggest private server, over 500 online for RSClassic. We are more than open to having people come in and help, try it out, and just overall enjoy the game. We are different from the other servers, as we don't charge to play. The only thing we offer is subscriptions in the thread layout you can see a slight exp boost is given when using a subscription card. Other servers charge for global chat, magical pools to teleport to towns easier without magic, P2p content, and other various things. We do not want to force you to pay for a game, we want you to get the same feel as people who can afford to pay to play, but we just give them a slight exp raise. We are currently about 48-72 hours away from our beta, I figured I would post this so people could join and get ready for the beta and start bug reporting and giving us suggestions.

Priorities to test

Noting system (in bank)
Batch skills
NPC Drops (any overpowered drops)
General medium-serious gameplay bugs - take a character and level him normally, play how you would normally play

Server Information

The sever is an F2P server (only free-to-play skills, cannot pass the gate near brimhaven/taverly)

* F2P Land/Area, F2P Skills
* Dueling will be enabled
* Dragon NPCs (which will drop extremely rare dragon items)
* Dragon Items (dropped from Dragon NPCs) Can only be used outside of the wilderness (dueling)

Quality of life improvements:

* Noted items
* Batched skills
* Grand Exchange (web based, work in progress)
* Client tweaks
* Magic Portals for free teleportation
* Medium - High rate server. skills will be slightly lower.
* Fatigue will take 3-4 npcs to raise 1 fatigue point(str/attk/def only)

Please report any bugs you find to the bug report section of the forums. Bugs are very important to find and fix for a stable launch. Update notes can be found Here

The aim of this BETA is to eliminate any major bugs before a launch, to test the stability of the server and optimize where needed. The server will reboot often when updates need to be deployed, the server may go offline whilst i am away!

Download OsRSC v0.2 Client
unzip the folder and run OsRSC.jar file. If a new client version comes out, you will be forced to download the new one from this website.

Batch Skills

Our server has introduced Batch Events, with different types of behavior. By default, filling up vials, fletching, smelting, cooking etc will keep looping the action until you can no longer do it.
Fishing: Continuous Fishing, length depending on your level.
Fishing Lv 1: Auto fish until 1 fish is caught
Fishing Lv 10: Auto fish until 2 fish is caught
Fishing Lv 20: Auto fish until 3 fish is caught
Fishing Lv 30: Auto fish until 4 fish is caught
Fishing Lv 40: Auto fish until 5 fish is caught
and so on.. this will stop at level 90, in which case you can auto fish until 10 fish have been caught.
Woodcutting works similar to Fishing, however it will stop if the tree has been cut down.
Mining will simply auto mine until the ore is mined.
