OSRS Gold Buying Question- Please help!

I am just getting back into the game again. I got a temporary ban (don't remember the length of time) for RWT minor very early this year in June. I remember that when I received the ban I also got a warning that if another offence of the same type was committed that there would be an increase in the ban time. (however that message no longer shows anywhere with the offence anymore) Now it simple states that "further action will be taken against your account"-

That being said I was considering buying more gold, and have so far been told IF I do buy to not waste time with mules as they track it all down anyway, so that you may as well buy straight from your main.

So my questions are,
1) What is the order of ban lengths for buying? Basically considering threading the needle until the perm. (assuming I get caught which I am sure I will since I already have an offence)

2) When buying, is any amount less safe than others? Meaning is buying 5b or 6b or 7b a fast track to a perma ban skipping the other temporary?

3) I read to not use a website, as those are not safe anymore and will often times lead to bans. (despite the fact I am sure I will catch one anyway on this purchase) So if not a website, should I be joining one of the many random discords that all have donor amounts from sythe?

4) I have read about buying items as opposed to gold. Would most gold sellers allow you to pay for gold, and then buy the items to trade to you? I have always noticed they charge more for items, beyond what they are worth for in gold.

 

I would say there is no longer a ban order. What they determine your second ban punishment to be is really up to their discretion following the history of the account. This is to deter further rule-breaking. The more gold you buy, the more at risk you are because they are tracking gold being traded. Items are a safer bet and most gold sellers give you the option to buy items directly instead of negotiating with them (website sellers). Website sellers are probably more riskier than discord sellers because of the traffic they get, but are typically more safer to trade with in terms of not getting scammed. Your best bet is to deal with someone who is a reputable user with quality vouches. The more gp you plan on buying, the more reputable the person you are trading should be. Good luck!

That all being said, do you know any sellers that you know to be reputable for a high gp (high item value) trade? No worries if not and I will research on my own !

 

bans for buying have less consequences, at least 2 temp bans before perm. Its like irl where they punish drug dealers more than users.

 

That is what my research seems to show, but some cases seem to be a temp into a perm. (assuming they are being honest but I see no reason for someone not to be)

By chance, do you know a reputable seller that you would recommend for someone to buy gold/items from ?
