If this were the case, do you think the price of Dragon Warhammers will go up?

 

Absolutely. Well, I had bought several DWH's at around 38m ea when that blog was released, then sold them last week for around 47m ea. Just looked at the live price though and they're at 41-42m. They'll go up again no doubt

 

I think the price will go up aswell. There will be more demand, and also they will be harder to get because of the blowpipe nerf

I think they will go up in the short term due to artificial demand (merchers).

Pking for the obby maul bracket is dead because BH is nonexistent right now. The 50 attack group will still use a gmaul as their spec wep due to high KO potential.

Shamans are still being farmed by Vennies/bots. PvMers are the main driving force behind the demand and pricing.

Great buy short term, but not long term as the current proposed update is not game changing enough to cause a huge demand from the pking community.

 

Interesting, these will deffo go up in price I may have to hold a few.

 

For obbies you can still get fights at maxed.

And for the gmaulers, anyone that is good and has money will use DWH to gmaul.

The max hit for obbies will be 63 with spec in maxed gear... This is incredibly high and will make obbies and gmaulers that can afford a DWH buy a DWH.

I think once update has happened the price will spike but long-term this weapon will be nerfed for sure. At 50 combat, obbies can pretty much 1 bang all the other builds.

 

I might look into holding a few myself, it does sound promising.

just thinking though, if the weapon would be as OP as you think, Would jagex slip in a nerf last minute before release, causing panic dumps and the price crashing

 

Agreed. Wait until the prodded obby's with 90+ str/low hp come out and obliterate any pure they see lol...No combo eating that spec. I really don't understand the logic behind this change. They should've just not nerfed the Golden Tench for obby's, but whatever...Let em shit on pvp even more smh. Dwh will go up for a fact

 

What you say makes sense but I think you also miss the purpose of the dwh being potentially great to train slayer on an obby pure or train obby pures overall. I think those purposes will lead into bigger demand

 

Absolutely. This will be huge for obby's, and a must have for training and pking. The dwh is is nearly 4x more accurate and has over 2x more str bonus than a slayer's staff in which on top of that an obby won't even need to get 55 slayer anymore which takes most of them 1-3 weeks to get just to train/pk with the staff. The gmaulers and 1 attack defence pures will also buy it as well.

there is a bot on almost every world with 99 range farming shamans they will go up for awhile then keep crashing

Yes, this is my take. Lots of obbies and gmaulers will drive up the dragon warhammer price. The drop rate is 1/5000 so the supply for the demand won’t be there.

I’ve got 15 dragon warhammers banked waiting for price to increase on the 1 attack update possibly released this week!

Buy dragon warhammers everyone and hold!

Not ever 100% but a lot of wealthy players that I respect have a put a good portion of their wealth into Dragon Warhammers.
