^ Lol to be honest you have no idea what your talking about. Even though it is all personal opinion if you want criticism based of new styles and common rules of graphics here.

1st thing you have a centered focal, which to be honest is played out and boring and just does not look good, the colours are a uni tone of you playing with different shades of red. You need to mix it up and see what blends, and play with colours and experiment such as CMYK. The effects are to scattered and messy, and you seem to always have this over contrasted sharp look which only works very rarely. The lighting is terrible as it does not show the depth of the tag but rather just a mixed of bright and and dark tones. For example you have bright light above her head and dimmed light coming from the right side but there are shadows on her lower right chin and on the opposite side you have the dark tones and a random shaded spot but her face correspondent to that side is extremely bright.

Read up on some tutorials and try to try some different styles rather then the "generic" signature look dating back 3 years. But keep practicing =).

I think if you fix the render you can save it. I love the background, and it has potential, but I think everything about the render sucks.

Tbh someone's kind of a dick. It is over contrasted. You even said so yourself lmao. Btw buddy how long have you been at graphics? 2, 3 years? I've been using NSL/PR/GR for 6 years and counting, so don't come tell me I don't know what I'm talking about :) I just didn't iterate my point well enough because I was short of time.

Yes he does, the contrast is too high since you're getting white sharp fringing on the highlights.

CMYK isn't an experiment, and would be one of the hardest swatches to blend. You're right about the monotony, but rather read up about matching chroma, secondary and complimentary colours for effective swatches.

I actually really like the contrast on the face, not so much on the black effects, but that isn't hard to sort out.

The lighting isn't terrible, just burn/darken the lower right part, and it's fine. You can see from the shadow on her forehead under the hair that the light source is above.

It's the flow that needs fixing.

Mid novice (if you wanted classing).

CYMK is one of the most overused colours if you actually went on other graphics sites. The combination looks great its not always about blending butabout how the colours compliment eachother.

CMYK is used because of the Chroma of each being roughly the same, and that creates contrast through colour, so it's good at emphasising focal points, I do go on other graphic sites..?

And that's completely subjective, and the colours compliment each other because of the similar chromas as i've already said.

You clearly are confused about swatches, chromas, saturation and colour combinations, you should read up about them.
