    Never buy off playerauctions.com

( this is being copy and pasted from the one I posted in reddit disclaimer) Hey everyone. So, a side note before I get into this. (You can critique me all you want for buying an account and yes I know Im very dumb for it, but hopefully I can shed some light onto this matter so no one else does the same stupid mistake as me.) So about a year ago I bought a 40 attack, 70 strength and 70 range account off a seller named Mupphins on playerauctions.com for around $26. He had 99% good feedback and seemed to be a very trustable and all around legit guy to deal with so I decided not to buy the 10 dollar insurance. So, I came into buying this account very confident and had no worries that it would be recovered because surely he had so many accounts that he wouldn't just recover mine. Now, I spent a good amount of time on this account as I wanted to make it into a BH prodigy. I quested up to 60 attack, got mithril gloves, got 80 strength, 87 range, and 94 magic. To top it off I was 13 prayer, with a no prayer fire cape which also took me 50m in attempts. At this point my account was in my eyes amazing for pking, but still had a long way to go. I was getting kind of bored of runescape at the time since I was getting into new games so I decided to take a trip to the sand casino and stake by bank. I ended up losing my 200m cash stack. I wanted to take a break to focus on school after that and ended up not logging onto runescape for around 2-3 months. When I finally decided I wanted to get back into It i tried logging onto my account just to find out that I was able to get in. I kept track of every single password on the account so I tried every one I have ever made. No luck. When I was scrolling through these passwords I found the one in which the seller (mupphins) gave to me originally with the account. I took a wild chance and to my surprise it worked. Now at this point I knew 100% my account was recovered, and honestly had no idea what to do. I tried recovering it through jagex but no luck. I then decided I was going to contact player auctions. I emailed them my case, and got an email back saying that "this is not the email which the account is registered to", but the thing was that I did not know the email which my account was registered to. At this point I had no hope and decided to just not even try to get my account back and to just learn my lesson to never buy an account ever again(mind you this is my first and last time buying one). About 2 months later I found the email I registered my account which while going through my gmail on my old laptop and decided to give it another try. After I explained PA my story, and the all the statistics which the account and which was 60 attack 80strength 86range 13 prayer+firecape 94 magic they messaged me and told me they would contact the seller and see if he can recover it for you, and that if he doesn't he will be banned(with proof he recovered it) and if he gives me my $26 dollar back which I paid for the account he would not be banned. When I heard this i was completely outraged. He can just recover an account which I dedicated hundreds of hours into and then just give me 26 dollars back and be fine? Player auctions told me that was the best they could do and I was fed up with talking to them. i checked back a week later to see if they got anything from "investigating him deeply", and saw an email saying that he did not reply back to them with a satisfying response so they terminated his account.I went onto PA to check if his account was terminated and I went through his reviews to see a review which said (link to photo of what the review said Gyazo - f59bb6524fb9fea321e3cfc2067c9288.png Now you're telling me the support staff at player auctions was investigating this guy for weeks and couldn't even make it so he is unable to sell accounts when he is being accused of scamming? Not only this but a listing of my account, with the exact stats I told them, and "13 prayer fire cape" In the title?? Gyazo - 73399d6bb947eb931928d1fae73f4e56.png Mind you I was also told by a support agent that an already bought account can not be resold, I guess he was wrong. $155 scammed, and $26 scammed, and probably many more people in the future. Please learn from my mistake and do not ever buy an account. Not matter how reputable the seller is just don't take the risk because it can always be recovered no matter what. And Jagex, if you are reading this recent names which I kept track of what he was changing them to on OSbuddy are, (Joaox500, No Flax, Mel0n C00n, Nindu nuffin, bignosekike, I M fishy, and I mesmerize) Please ban this account so he cant scam more people. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this.
