Need a way to play runescape at school.

I know what most of the people say about playing runescape at work or school... so please dont try to post any of that crap here. Here is my situation:

I go to an alternative school because I got in trouble (expelled) from my old school, The work is really easy and the classes are an hour and fifteen minutes long. the work takes about 15-30 minutes to do in each class and i'm allowed to get on the computers. My administrator said if i could get around the firewall then I could play runescape at school, she's one of my friends. We're all close like that.

But yeah, anyway... I would love to find out how to play one through a proxy or a web client or something like that. So I thought i'd ask for Sythe's help.

yeah, that one is blocked by my school's firewall. we use Webwasher if it could help anybody, i dont know =(

well, i'm pretty computer savvy. I already tried getting into the Internet options and even changing my administrators password... i dont know, its not that i'm addicted to playing runescape, its knowing that my computer teacher has actualy beat me at something. I just want the ability to play runescape at school.


IDEA?: maybe I could download something like a worldswitcher or something onto my mp3 player (yes, i can do that) and use that on the school computer or something...

I might have to try that when i get home later.

 

Is it your own computer? If it is you could install Hotspot Shield on it, and use that as a proxy. Even if it isn't yours you could still probably install it on it. You probably cannot go to the website to download it however. If you want I could email you the file, I don't know if email is blocked though.

 

I just put RSBot on my flash drive. That works on our computers at least.

 

I use a proxy www.watcheight.info - just make sure you un-check the box that says "remove scripts". works for me =)

 

That works 99.9% of the time. If that does not work you have an advanced blocker on the comp and GL with that lol.

Well thanks everyone, i'll try that proxy that the one guy wrote down... if that doesnt work i guess i'm SOL right?

and i might just put rsbot on my flash drive, seems like a pretty good idea.

 

yeah the rsbot on the flashdrive works well for me as well, the filter at my skool is "icq word filter" pain in the ass to get around(not found a way yet) but yeah i can play rsbot using the flashdrive with rsbot on it.

 

try downloading firefox, at my school u can bypass blocks with that.

ON TOPIC: but yeah, i dont exactly have a flash drive. I have an MP3 player that I can put programs because it has a 2 Gig card in it... So hopefully it will work the same way as a flash drive. I should though, theoretically?
