Mysterious Emblem: What to do?

So I started PKing 3 days ago on an obby mauler I made and I've been pretty successful. I have over 100 kills so far and a shit ton of emblems. I always die when I'm at like T8 and it's annoying. So my question is this: what should I do with my emblems? Right now I have 7 T2s, 3 T3s, 4 T1s, and I'm at T7 on one and working to T10.

Should I sell them at a certain tier? Should I cash them in at a certain tier and buy a certain item from the bounty guy for profit? When I get T10 today (hopefully) should I use it to buy Hunter's Honour or should I sell it for GP or cash it in with the bounty guy?

What do y'all do with your emblems and what do you think is the best thing to do?

Some people only bring out high emblems when they know they have a good chance of getting the kill (when target is a looter, new to pking, shit stats etc), but if not they just use a lower tier.
It's sort of looked down upon but it does work.

 

Well yeah I know that, but the question is what to do with the actual emblems. Not upgrading them, but the final reward: cash them in, sell them, etc..

 

emblems r worth shit now, just buy some untradebles from them

 

Stack every tier emblem you have to 10, and cash them in for 5m bh points ea one tier 10 = 1.8m - 2.2m if you know what to buy & got patients to wait for it to sell.

 

What should I buy?

 

I always just buy runeplate legs with mine, know price is stable because of use and alch value.

 

you want to wait till you get to tier 10 ,

tier 10 = 5m points
tier 8 = 2.5m points

as you can see alot more worth it to save till a tier 10

also I cashed in all my 10s and bought berserker helms think you profit more then rune.

 

Go for tier 10, just pick fights you have a good chance of winning, maybe even bring a cash risk and only fight targets lower level with worse gear

 

Can't tell you that sorry :S, just look around mess around with the prices and you'll find your item

 

There are only so many items it's not like there can be a secret item lol.

 

Personally I just sell them at tier 1. I'm 104 with 70 attack 99 str 70 def with piety and win maybe about 60% of the fights I do (lose to ags products who spec 65+ mostly).

But if you look at it statistically:
Tier 1 - 50,000 points
Tier 2 - 100,000 points
Tier 3 - 200,000 points
Tier 4 - 400,000 points
Tier 5 - 750,000 points
Tier 6 - 1,200,000 points
Tier 7 - 1,750,000 points
Tier 8 - 2,500,000 points
Tier 9 - 3,500,000 points
Tier 10 - 5,000,000 points

You can see the points keep doubling until you reach tier 4. This means risking emblems after tier 4 becomes more risky as you lose more points when you lose than you would gain if you win.

 

I don't worry much about losing them, I pick my fights pretty well. 5 T1s = 500k as opposed to 1 T10 = 1m+ so I don't really think that would be a good idea.
