Most effective way of Splashing to train magic?

What is the most effective way of using the splashing method to train magic? Can you stay AFK at clan wars for 6 hours without interruption? What spells have the best gp/xp rating? Most guides on this seem to be out of date so any inside would be great. I see people using this method to train magic all the time but I've never used it. Thanks for the help!

 

You can stay afk at clan wars for the whole 6 hours unless the server dcs, which happens a lot in the main splashing world (329)
I recommend going to 329 and find a partner who will hop worlds with you so there is less dcs.
It's best to just use mind runes unless you are rich, in which splashing with blood runes is ineffective anyway since you can use blood spells at nmz.

 

be careful with clan wars splashing though. people can use a bond on you, and it will stop you from splashing.

 

That's have been patched, try logging in to world 329 & you'll see

Is there random events that can stop you from splashing in these locations?

If you are in a bank then the random event that normally stops you from splashing won't appear (e.g. dwarf in fally east, gnome in grand tree, spider at lumby chest) or you could just go to clan wars and splash there.

 

^ I used to lure imps to yanille bank and splash on those.

 

people just come and plant an imp box near it to fuck with you lol

 

When you're in a bank, you're immune to random events so by standing in any bank around runescape attacking a NPC (doesn't need to be inside the bank area) will enable you to AFK train magic for 6 hours without interruption unless of course someone uses a bond on you or the NPC you're attacking has a right click option such as pickpocket (players can distract the NPC which will stop you from splashing).

My recommendations are the RFD chest in the lumbridge basement or any remote location in a pvp world (you don't get random events in a pvp world) where you're unlikely to be found.
