MM2 Bursting / Barraging / Chinning: Client Settings [Draft]

This guide is written for OPENOSRS users who want to maximize efficiency when bursting/ barraging / chinning at maniacal monkeys in the mm2 cave.
[Most of these settings can be turned on in runelite aswell. however, the layout menu in runelite is not as streamlined.]

[Guide Length: ~10 Minutes]

You will require to turn on the following plugins:
-Ground items
-NPC Aggression Timer
-Placement within the caves

Step one: Configuring Ground items:

Highlighted:
Prayer potion(1)

Show Highlighted items only: ON




Hidden:
Monkey bones (small ninja),Steel scimitar,Maple shortbow,Oak plank,Grimy guam leaf,Bass,Banana,Antipoison(2),Adamant arrow(p++),Rope

Hide Hidden :ON
Right click hidden items:ON



Miscellaneous:
Show Menu Item Quantities:ON
Collapse ground item menu items:ON

Optional: Show time remaining:Always




Step Two: NPC Aggression Timer

Always active:ON

Show Timer:ON
Show area Lines:ON

Send notifications:ON


Step three: Placement inside the caves:
One thing I've noticed a lot of people are doing wrong is their placement in the mm2 caves . There are three distinct locations within the cave each with its own benefits.



Location one: Non stacking / afking, "middle of the room"
For those who do not wish to stack their maniacal monkeys: the best location is the green tile.
This location will allow monkeys to come at you from multiple angles thus having a higher chance of having the titles in front of you filled. Make sure you are on the tile marked as green as any other will result in reduced XP ph.

A brief explanation of the different tile colors:

Green: Stand here
Red: These are the 3 different tiles monkeys will be attacking from.
Important: Monkeys will not walk behind you unless you move. So it is advised not to pick up prayer potions as soon as they drop but try to wait for them to pile up, collect a bunch, and repeat
Blue: These are the "zones" where monkeys will get hit depending on where your character is facing.
White: This is the "dead spot". Due to how rs is programmed as long as you are standing on the green tile monkeys are unable to step behind you. Unless, as explained above, you move.
