Looking for a 3s item stall

I'm looking for any item which isn't in the cape slot that can be used to stall your character for 3 to 3.6 seconds. It must be able to stall forced teleports & character movement inputs. An example would be the pet rock (now patched), but that can only stall for 2.4s and isn't long enough to suit my needs.

It doesn't matter if it works in the duel arena or not. I'm simply looking to use it for speed running a mini-game.

If anyone has any ideas of stalls of that length please let me know. Don't expect me to pay for it, I couldn't care less if it was well known or obscure.

Bummer that it needs to be an item stall I've found a way to stall for around 7s but it's an action.

 

Broken glass and dry sticks from sea slug quest? Not sure if this is what you mean but this is a lengthy stall.

 

Yeah, it's for a really specific use. In short I'm trying to use it to stall my character and kick me from a team at barbarian assault faster than it would be to run out of the door.

If it's an action that can be done in BA then it'd work fine, just it needs to be around 3-4 seconds long or else I may as well just use the door.

I had that one in mind but wasn't sure how to use it so I gave up. I'll try that one again, though I think it's a low priority stall and wouldn't affect anything other than animations.

 

Posting out of curiosity (as I ba for a living) are you trying to find an alternative to the turkey emote?

Looking to do something similar to that on oldschool, yes. The turkey emote was worse than using the door though, so we instead used 2-3 people doing the seal of approval emote in a certain way to get someone kicked off the team in the fastest way possible. But yeah, I'm looking for something which works the same as that.

Tried releasing ruby harvest butterflies? I know they work as a stall not sure how long tho

If i remember right the bug you are trying to do was patched like 3 years ago.

 

No, it wasn't patched. A lot of items had their stall priorities lowered recently but there should still be some others out there.

i remember some stalls used in DA a few years back pre-eoc which worked well...

1. bloom a sliver sickle (i reckon you've tried this one since it's pretty well known)
2. craft a dramen staff
3. light an hot-air balloon
4. (imo best one since u can stack) break an enchant jewelry tablet

would be nice to hear if any of these work

 

1. Patched and now just stalls graphical animations, not teleports.
2. I'll look into this because I have no clue.
3. Same as silver sickle I think, but i'll look into it when I finish the quest.
4. Unlikely that you'll be able to take that one into BA, but I'll try that later today and get back to you on it.

try using a scrying orb ro whatever its spelt >.> i remember doing the quest a few days ago and playing about with it

 

Comm-orb doesn't work, already tested.
Ring of stone can't be used in BA and as such doesn't work, although it can still potentially stall other things.
Enchant jewellery tabs don't stall.

Edit: Making a dramen staff isn't a stall.
