Is there a trick for drop parties?

There are so many drop parties, and i wonder, is there a trick to getting shit?
Not in the drop party room w/ balloons, just normal drop parties.
I just wanna know, because i never get anything..

You can look to see where they stop while they are walking which usually means that something has been dropped there. Once you see this happen, stand on top of it and spam click it.

 

Auto clickers, setting it to the bare minimum and once you see it enabling the clicker, you just have to be careful guiding it.

No that's unessential be wise it takes 30seconds for an item to appear right? once you see them drop wait a bit them spam it away

 

Tbh the main factor to drop parties is having a good connection and computer, i aint gone to them in years but the mass people in 1 building used to lag my old pc like shit, making it impossible to click any loot.

Auto-clicker is a good idea, you'd have to pick a spot and hope something will land there and just make it spam away and be guaranteed to get it unless you lagged or something.

 

Actually, he's right. You do know what PID is right?

Basically it's like when in a friend's chat. 2 People kicks at a really close time interval, of course 1 comes out on top every time. Guess who has the PID? It's the same with boxing, who gets the hit first? The one with the higher PID.

Runescape doesn't track the 0.01 second time difference between 2 characters picking up at an item, at least the time interval isn't that small. So it comes down to pid.

Since you're never really prepared with PID when in a drop party, you should just know where to click. By that, I mean click right on the center of the square. Some items are slim and long, some are big. You'll misclick a lot if you don't do this.

SM321 is right, but it's not always the case. Hosts have figured this out ages ago, and some don't like it. I personally would drop right after I click to another square, not when I come to a stop. But it all depends on how far the host is also walking, if he walks 2-3 squares away, it's more likely he drops it where he stops.

The hosts can be tricky or blatantly obvious, try to anticipate the drop by their movements.

Look out for anyone walking around with a familiar, the autoclicker will click this and you will move off the spot. Some people do this to troll drop parties, look out for this
