Is bringing a cannon while chinning worth it?

Title says it ^. Is it?

 

Yes. With chins and a cannon you can get up to 700k xp/hr at ~90 range.

 

Does gear matter? I currently have 86 range, robin, ranger boots, fury, avas, archer ring, zammy dhide top, chaps, and vambs.

 

That's probably the best you can get

 

What about void. Would I get more xp if I used that?

 

If you have void and your already 42+ defence, yes.

Well, atleast I think so, void give an invisibly + 20% bonus.

elite void is even better though, and If you have the requirements I would definitely suggest the extra hours to get it

 

Wait wait wait. 700k xp per HOUR? Is this in ape atoll? Have you personally tested it + found it to be accurate? Are cannonballs more expensive than chins?

 

Cballs are like 400 each ;P

I wouldn't do it unless you are filthy rich. Chins are expensive enough and the exp is already beast.

 

Yes a cannon would increase your EXP an Hour. Use void, ranger boots, range amulet, etc.

You need to position the cannon correctly so that when you mass the monkies, it is constantly shooting. A cannon that is constantly shooting can get 200k exp/hr. If you just place it randomly, you won't get much extra exp.

 

Elite void is the way to go, you'll notice the difference.

 

It isn't 700k and hour and It blows away a large chunk of you cash, but it will increase you Experience per hour drastically, I did it from 97 - 99 range and lost like 5-6m alone and the cannonballs didn't even last me the whole time plus you have to pick up and put down your cannon every hour or so... Unless you can afford it don't do it because chins are so expensive as it is at this point in time...
