How to install Jagex Launcher on Linux

    How to install Jagex Launcher on Linux

    Steps:


    1. Download Flatpak for your distro
    2. Open terminal
    3. Copy and paste to terminal the correct version for your distro:
    4. Arch Linux:
      Code:
      sudo pacman -S flatpak
    5. Ubuntu:
      Code:
      sudo apt install flatpak
    6. If you have Manjaro or Linux Mint it is already pre-installed
    7. Download jagexlauncher.yml from:
      Code:
      https://github.com/TormStorm/jagex-launcher-linux/blob/main/resources/jagexlauncher.yml
    8. Install Lutris by copying and pasting this to terminal:
      Code:
      flatpak install flathub net.lutris.Lutris
    9. Run lutris by copying and pasting this to terminal:
      Code:
      flatpak run net.lutris.Lutris
    10. Once Lutris is opened, Click the + in the top left corner of Lutris and select:
      Code:
      Install from a local install script
    11. Choose the jagexlauncher.yml script
    12. Follow the on screen instructions leaving the installation directory as default
    13. It may freeze momentarily while installing (this is normal)
    14. Close installation windows, go to Ludris and run jagex launcher.
