How to get past level 90 in Antbuster

INTRODUCTION​

Welcome! Have you ever heard of Antbuster? Actually it's a quite interesting game, whose creator is Marcel Stein. It's a tower game and the objective is to defend your cake killing the ants which what to steal it. You kill them with cannons which you can upgrade to make them faster/stronger/etc. Choosing their positions and what to upgrade is essencial for a good result. So here's the guide that will teach you to do so. Enjoy.






Firsts Steps


To start playing the game, we must go to the official website, where the last version can be found.





Just click to "Play Antbuster"; then, scroll down and the game will start after a few advertizements.













Click play and you'll get 10 seconds to build your firsts turrents. Here's where you should place them:






As indicated in the picture, you have to leave 4 spaces from the border. After placing them, upgrade them into Heavy Cannon (indicated too) then into Impact Cannon (next picture).




Do the same to the other cannon.




These two cannons will be Ice Cannons in the future, which will make ants go slower.

Now, lets place another cannon. This next one will be a Poison Spray. Upgrade these into Double Cannon then Triple Cannon.





After this, we'll have to earn money for our Poison Spray, so until we have it we won't upgrade anything.

Now we have our Poison Spray, nearly all ants die so we can invest some cash on some Missile Launchers. Until level 50 or so, ants hit by one of these will die. Place the first one here:



Good. Now lets upgrade this one into a Heavy Cannon (just like the Impact Cannon) and Heavy Cannon II next.






Now lets wait a bit and when we get 770 money lets upgrade one of these into the Missile Launcher.




One of these is enough for these levels. Now lets make our first Ice Cannon.



Then upgrade the other Impact Cannon into an Ice Cannon too. After that upgrade the other Heavy Cannon II into a Missile Launcher too. Then lets place another cannon in between the two Missile Launchers.



Good. Now we have 3 Missile Launchers, lets place 2 more just to reinforce. But before all this, we must click the Ice Cannons and upgrade them into Ice Cannon II. Same with Poison Spray. Now these cannons will be maxed.



Congrats! Now you can start improvising where to place your Missile Launchers. Remember that the place where you place your cannon will give more or less effectiveness of the cannon, and the only way to know this is game experience!

TIPS

• 
  [*]Never upgrade your Missile Launcher unless you have +10 cannons. Its expensive and useless.
  [*]There are various strategies, with Sniper Cannons, Quick Cannons, etc. But Ice Cannons will always be in a good stategy.
  [*]Click the clock to pause the game.
  [*]Click the ant that has the cake and all cannons will try to hit it.
  [*]Try not to AFK, you may lose cake pieces.

It is a good guide on the subject. Next time you advertise, make sure to include ".org" after Sythe. The subject isn't well known, and while it may be helpful, It won't get you very much here on Sythe.

If you're putting the cannons around each other then aren't you reducing the rang and effectiveness of them since the cannons will cover roughly the same area?

You could just use cheat engine to hack it lol but nice guide, will use sometime when i actually wanna play

 

i used to play ant buster about 2 years ago but i couldnt get passed level 49 i might try with your guide

 

I've tested many strategies and placing the cannons that way will increase effectiveness, but I don't know actually why...
