How much irl money have you spent on OSRS Just to stake it?

i made around 25k usd from staking only

 

Just lucky? I seen people at duel arena say they just lost 25b like it’s casual and they seem good at staking but idk how isn’t it just 50/50? Doesn’t seem like it... good example is some dudes name always there name is not5050 ain’t that the truth

When I was 15 I would spend my $50 weekly paycheck on rs3 gold to gamble in dice clans so I lost around 1b rs3 + yellow phat in that time.

However in terms of staking I think I am up overall about 500m 07. Though I've seen lots of friends lose bills there.

I don't stake often but if I had to guess I'd say I've spent ~$2k just to lose it all in staking.

Bought 200m chuck it and won 400.. Came back a month later with 500m and lost it all lol. Have done a few 100's but lost. Deep inside I know theres a part of me that knows I'm gonna lose but somehow I'm okay with that since I just switch skill and do another skill (Post 99 ofc)

Never done staking to be honest. I'm a too frugal OSRS player

 

Staking tax literally turned the duel arena into a casino. There’s no longer any such thing as 50/50 odds. In the bigger picture it’s impossible to make a steady income staking.

You can still stake for fun, or even get super lucky one day and make 10b. But if done full time because you think you see a trend in yourself, you will end up negative, due to the house having the best odds (the tax).

 

That being said this is great for the economy and a tax should be implemented on the grand exchange as well. Inflation will never be fixed until high alchemy no longer puts billions of gold coins in the game every day, and monsters like gargoyles stop providing ~80% of the profits in gold coins though.

I seriously know more people that have lost cash staking than I know who has made gains.. It looks like I need some new friends

 

Im incredibly lucky because i won the big stakes and i lost the small stakes.

I think its 50-50 however, one thing I noticed after all these years that u get winning and losing streaks. Most people dont know this and they do small bets when they have a win streak while they always double up their bets while they have a losing streak and they clean themselves.

i stopped staking after the tax update

 

Im currently down around 800mill from staking and most if not all of that was purchased >.<. But that was over a certain amount of time and not purchased for the intent to stake it lol.

 

You're not alone mate. I know a lot of people that have lots cash staking. It's pretty addictive lol, especially if you've made some gains but then get the idea if I just stake all of it, I will double it :'D

 

I told myself im not going to stake again. I was at 800mill trying to get a tbow. I was at work and thought it would be a good idea to stake 200mill 4 times. losts all of them LOL.
