How many chins for 65-85 range

Anyone know about how many red chins it will take to get from 65-85 range at ape atoll? And before you say it's a waste of money, i know.

 

Around ~24k. Took me 32k for 55-87.

Training with chins under lvl 80 of range is not worth it for me.. Try iron knifing something its more worth it If you have a main account try Deadly red spiders.

 

If you chuck em with full void arma book, it's actually pretty cheap. The time you save you could be doing something to make money and break even.

 

~20-25k is accurate assuming you have a decent gear setup, from what I remember I used around 60k from 62-99 without Salve. Salve amulet (e)(i) is something you should definitely get before chinning. Although the damage bonus only affects the first target, if you hit your first target you'll also be guaranteed to hit those around it too. Only applies to chins.

 

Salve isn't that important; fury is actually better level 90+ (I think)?

Void is definitely a must, though. Invest in that.

Lvl 75 ranged:

75 (lvl) * 1.15 (prayer) = 86.25 -> 86
86 + 8 (constant) = 94
94 * 1.1 (void accuracy boost) = 103.4 -> 103
A = 103

With fury: B = 92 (accuracy bonus)
With salve: B = 82 (accuracy bonus)

Fury max roll:
103 * (64+92) = 16,068

Salve max roll:
103 * (64+82) = 15,038
15,038 * 1.20 (salve (e)(i) accuracy boost) = 18,045.6 -> 18,045




Lvl 90 ranged:

90 * 1.15 = 103.5 -> 103
103 + 8 = 111
111 * 1.1 = 122.1 -> 122
A = 122

With fury: B = 92
With salve: B = 82

Fury max roll:

Salve wins at all levels. This is without including the +20% increase to your max hit on the first target.

 

It's about 130k-200k per 1k chins, depending how good you are at it with or without void. Void obviously being more exp around 230k.

 

I wouldn't train range with chins unless my range is 80+ due to the outrageous cost of chins atm. Just my 2 cents.

Are you sure this is the correct math? I always thought salve was better, but a lot of people said that at higher levels a fury was better? How is +10 ever better than 20%?

 

Just saying, it's really not worth chinning until 70-75 ranged. I would just train with blowpipe and steel/mith darts at NMZ or something if I were you. Also, 120k-150k xp per 1k chins sounds about right to me.

 

NMZ isn't much cheaper to be honest considering the cost of scales + you receive 1/3 xp per attack as with chins so you spend a lot more on prayer potions.
I just did NMZ from 80-90 range and spent a pretty penny.
