How do I set up my Ubuntu server to host haxball?

Hi all :), I need help with setting up my ubuntu server to host the game Haxball. Haxball is a web browser game that can be played here

    http://www.haxball.com/

And I would really like some help on learning how to make my server able to host haxball. To host haxball without a server basically one players creates a room and they become the host and invite other players. I want to make it so my server creates a room and becomes the host so other players can join. How can I do that in an Ubuntu server? I have normally just used the terminal in the past to run some java programs but I don't know how to get a graphics user interface on an ubuntu server. I think once I get a graphics user interface I would be able to install google chrome and run the game there right?

    My server specs if needed

    Operating System: Ubuntu 11.10 x86_64
    Template: ubuntu-11.10-x86_64-cvps-base
Bandwidth:146.34 MB of 100 GB Used / 99.86 GB Free
HDD: 1.21 GB of 10 GB Used / 8.79 GB Free

    Thanks :)

How do I set up my Ubuntu server to host haxball?

Or in other words how do I access an ubuntu-desktop version on an ubuntu server?
I've already done the command sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
What do I do now to see the ubuntu desktop? Or what program do I need to be using?
