Hey guys bought a account from a reputable guy called crazy pipe.
350$ Account
+ 1100 dollar Samsung phone so I can play osrs again..
A week later after playing and purchasing the account I went to log in to find i was unable to log in because it was locked for suspicion it may have been stolen.. I've tried to recover it with the details of the creation of the account and other details but I was un successful. Crazypipe is going to try and recover it.. is there any reason why I would be targeted ??

 

Sold multiple times/reselling it to often..

 

What do you mean re selling what ? It's a power trained account

 

It could be the reason, Not sure cuz i dont know the account history

 

If the home IP's differ drastically, e.g other side of the world, they could lock it for security

 

Simply contact the original owner and ask to help get it unlocked. This is pretty common if Jagex believes the account is hacked due to different IPs

Locked under suspicion of theft simply means someone has recovered the account.

 

After back and forth with Crazypipes. They just to blame me for it getting hacked. There argument was that this has simply occurred before of a site i have entered.. which is a poor argument

Which wouldn't seem right since I have never had a problem regarding account hacking besides this account j have bought off them. It has been locked twice and now it has been stolen and has someone else's gmail registered on the account. And I dont know what to do ? Because my debit card is set up for direct debit for membership

 

Save/screenshot all proof of conversations with CrazyPipe regarding this account as well as trade proof and post a "Recovered account" scam-report in the anti-scam section.

If it's been stolen(and you arent lying in the first place) then its likely CrazyPipe recovered it to resell it.

Mods will determine based on what evidence you present(even anti-virus scans etc) whether you're entitled to a refund from CrazyPipe or force CrazyPipe to recover the account for you again or dismiss your claims. That said, if CrazyPipe sold you the account then logically speaking only you and CrazyPipe can RECOVER the account. If it is really such a high-value account(since you paid in the thousands) i highly doubt its been resold that many times and CrazyPipe wouldnt sell an account that's already changed hands so many times.

Regarding your debit card: contact the bank to have it cancelled and let Jagex know via email that the card's been cancelled and cannot be used for membership billing. Done.

 

Hey mate I dont know much what else to say. He payed me back 115dollars or wanted me to pay 40 dollars for another account (firstly he offered a replacement it for it then changed his mind and deleted the skype message and wanted money)



I dont have much knowledge into account selling and stuff I just wanted to buy an account to play on i even bought a Samsung s9 plus in cash so i could play like I did when I was a teenager

Threw out the whole ordeal I screen shotted most of the conversations. I was very professional (as I'm a buisness owner) but when he knew I was going to write a review he started threatening me. Saying something like staking ? Something along those lines.. I ended up telling him to just leave it. And I ended paying another member to train an account for me...

Dont know what to really do but it is what it is. It caused enough drama with the wife for spending that much money on a game that she couldn't even see !

 

All that threats can easily be used against him. If you can find the conversations at all, take them to a scam-report and let the mods handle. I dont feel you should just 'let it slide' especially where so much money was involved. If you can really prove he was threatening you(and he's a pretty reputable sythe user, so he has ALOT to lose by getting banned), thats half the battle won. Go back to your com, try and dig out the conversations from start to end + paypal/monetary payment transaction proofs, especially legit chat proof showing him threatening you.

Tell the mods your side of the story, show PROOF of it, and let the mods handle, bud. I dont feel it's rlly worth letting it slide. If the mods agree with you they can force CrazyPipe to recover the account for you or risk a ban. At best you may even get your account back.
