1, whats the best weapon to use with maul (melee only) don't have 55 slay atm so not slayer staff (.:

2, Is maul a effective way of training at 60+ strength? I have berserker necklace (

Iron scim or use range for knives to maul

is Iron scim faster then maul?

 

1. Yeah you should focus on slayer staff but I agree iron scim
2. Yep and maul is good at that level

 

I have a near maxed mauler and lots of friends who are too. We all will express the importance of a slayer staff. It is essential to training and pking.

I recommend training range while slayer (completing tasks by using range not mellee).

 

just cannon slayer and get a slayer staff... only way u could use melee decently with maul, otherwise just use msb with maul, i used to like use hunter cbow on my vlser in bh but idk how it works with maul, but either way, get 55 slayer or dont bother.

 

try a red topaz machette or a bone dagger p++

obby maulers/tanks have been the most made account that i have done and i'v ALWAYS trained with an obby maul until i got slayer staff then i use nothing but slay staff after that.

When i pk i prefer to do bone dagger P++/Darklight Slayer staff/obby maul and just max gear you can wear.

EDIT: You can use red topaz machete to train with but...it's kinda slow ;S

 

Thanks for the advise man, how would you suggest getting the 55slayer needed for slayer staff and also how much would your methord of choice cost also? I have 26slayer atm
