Has Anyone Been Banned For Rs3 Buy Gold Lately? Share Experiences

Yesterday I bought 4.5B gold on my Alt level 135 (Old account of 10+ Years) And We traded in an odd location West of Edge in a P2p World and He was in the 20s in terms of combat and low total level.

ASAP, On my alt I spent all the money entirely on Items I need and Stored it into my Alts bank and I also went to a popular world and bought items from other people using normal trade screen and I depleted all my gold to ZERO. All I have left is items and it's remained on the account for now.

Questions:

How long should I wait till I trade all these items (around 25 items) to my main which is also level 138 combat and very old? (My Alt & Main are connected by the Log in Client, I forgot About this FYI)

So Far nothing has happened. How many days would have to pass for me to confirm that it's all safe and nothing is going to be a problem? 2-3 days? a week? a month?

If everything is safe and I want to purchase another 5b+ and use the same method as above trading ONLY items over after waiting, how soon would you wait?

Has anyone been BANNED OR WARNED from buying RS3 Gold in the past month of AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER? What's your experience? Did you lose items? Details Are helpful....

Is Jagex currently for "First time offenders" only giving them warnings OR 2-3 day bans? No one is getting perm banned from first offense regardless of purchase value? When do they perm you after you do 1-2 more offenses?

I know Jagex is Overwhelmed With The Craziness of "Hero Pass" and players going insane and rage mode on forums and reddit and YT... and on top of this they are trying to sell the company currently and milk it for Max money, so this might serve as a good distraction temp? There has been zero updates into the game and focus on this only?

After Reading TONS of old threads, it seems the SAFEST thing to keep on any account or trade is literally ANY ITEMS. So it's best to get rid of gold or shards ASAP.....because they can potentially take your gold or shards if you get a ban for 2-3 days, but NOT A SINGLE thread on here has anyone complaining about ITEMS being removed over the past few years.....

first time is warning/2day ban, then a week etc, i saw a screenshot of one guy getting 4-5 rwt bans and no perms (if buying) selling is perm on first

Yes they wont ban buyers because they're not the source of the problem. Same with botting. Mains won't get banned as frequent or often as gold farmers.

 

Really? so a example would be: warning, 2 day ban, 1 week band, 2 week ban, 1 month ban... ect..? never perm for botting or gold buying?

I have noticed they NEVER take items if u get caught. Only GP or maybe sometimes shard stack... so as long as u buy a bunch of things and ASAP it will likely let u keep ur value if caught... never good to have large stack GP if always buying gold.. IMO? u think so?

im suprised at botting? really? whats the details on that...

 

What I've done in the past is buy gold on 07 and swap it to rs3, I've never once had a ban or a warning from doing this as swapping isn't against the rules and seems way safer because most swappers swap with main/high level accounts so doesn't flag as easy.
Ban rates on RS3 have always seemed to be way higher than 07

 

how does this work? is it a bigger loss in irl money when buying osrs gold then swapping to rs3? and what clan do u use? and what is the loss to swap? there must be a catch?

 

FWIW, I buy on RS3 on my main somewhat often (5-6 times this year) and haven't been banned or warned. My goal is always for it to look like a friend giving a friend GP. Relatively small amounts (no more than 1-2b at a time), and I insist the seller sell to me from their main (usually 2000+ total level). If possible I add them to the friends list well before the trade and keep them added afterwards. I repeat buy from the same person if possible. I never scramble to spend it all, as that just looks extremely suspicious. Who drains their GP stack immediately after a huge trade?

If I were designing an automated system to detect RWT, I'd assign high points to unbalanced trades between low level players, unbalanced trades between players with no connection (not friends, no clan connection), unbalanced trades quickly followed by unbalanced trades (moving between mules), etc. Just don't be dumb about it. Laundering GP through high level players acting as OSRS<>RS3 exchanges is probably safer too, but I haven't done this myself.

 

I agree on trading higher levels and accounts who have been around for many years. the adding them as friend is smart too and also meeting in a less obv place ( i usually do barb village).

However, i seen people get warned for banned 2-3 days because of 500m trade... i think the less often u do it, the less chance u have to get a strike... so its better to buy a fat batch of cash in 1 go so u dont risk 5 more tries to get banned.. a lot of posts on here have been banned under 2b GP trades...

as for insta spend it.. like i said above i havent seen 1 post in 5 years on here looking back that jagex took any 1's items EVER. only taken gp and shards.. not even rares... so if u insta spend it and hold items... they wont take anything from u.. this is by far the best choice, lose some gp from GE or a ton of cash to zero from jagex....

btw im soon to buy more. items in rs3 is lowest its ever been. better to get all unlocks now before they make cmb equal to necro and everything will shoot the hell up x2-3 price of what it is now...

 

I’d recommend waiting at least a month, but there is no way to be 100% certain they still won’t follow you - my mains most recent buying ban was from 3 months since the last time I had bought gold

 

you bought gold, then 3 months later ur main got banned? was it 1-3 days? first attempt? i bought gold twice now and traded it from alt to main about 5 days later... and also it was all in items.. literally no shards or gold traded...so far so good. but ur statement is concerning?

 

delayed bans are quite normal they do this to gather more information about who else your trading etc, had bought a few times over time. I don't bother buying anymore after that ban because i reckon once you get a buying ban they will keep monitoring your accounts

 

was it 1-3 temp ban? any loss in gp? were u worried? if i get a ban or warning on my main i dont think i'd buy gp again either....

 

1st time was warning, then i got 3 day, then when i had last bought in 3 months, when they did ban me they banned me for 2 weeks and removed all of the coins on my account, i had bought items though so only lost around 100m.

It's sadly random, they could outright just perm ban regardless of what we expect the next punishment to be

u buy third time and its 2 week ban with gold removed and items keep?

so u keep doing it? OR did did u buy 1 time.... nothing happen... then buy 2nd... nothing happen...then buy third.... and finally 3 months later u got nuked by a warn, then 2-3 and then a 2 week? and then u stopped?
