    Guide to catching dragon implings

Stonerpyro's Guide To Catching Dragon Implings

Have you ever wanted to catch those most wanted dragon implings?
Have you ever wandered around puro-puro for hours without seeing anything above nature?

Or have you ever wanted to make this:

    In 2 days?

Then this guide is for you!

    Requirements

    -83 hunter
    or
-80-82 hunter with hunter potion(not reccomended (I will tell you why later on))

    -lost city quest complete
    -impling jars
    -butterfly or magic butterfly net

-recommended bind/snare/entangle (whatever you can cast)
if you bring bind/snare/entangle make sure to have a good magic bonus.

    Step 1

Enter puro puro through the center of the wheat field in Zanaris

If you have been in puro-puro before, go to Step 2, if not read on.

Talk to Elnock Enquistador (usually south of the entrance) and he will eventually give you a butterfly net, jars, and a scroll to keep track of what you caught.

    Step 2

Get to know puro-puro. Know what spawns where, and what the place looks like.

    Step 3

Getting those pesky dragon implings to spawn for you.

This is the hardest part of them.

I circled 2 corners, Northwest, and Southeast.
These are the corners that the dragon implings spawn.

Keep in mind, dragon implings do NOT spawn by themselves, you have to make them spawn.

When you go into puro-puro to catch them, start in either corner it does not matter.

In these corners, you will see a Nature Impling, Magpie Impling, Ninja Impling, Pirate Impling, or Dragon Impling.

The way I think about this is, having 2 helmets and only being able to have 1 on at once.

Only 1 of the above named implings will be there(amongst dozens of lower level implings). I will call this the "Rare Spawn"

If you see a Magpie etc, ALWAYS catch it. If you don't, then you will never get a dragon.

After you catch this rare spawn, run or walk to the opposite corner and get that rare spawn(circled above). This gives the spawn enough time to generate a random rare impling in that spot (you might have to wait a minute or so for it to spawn again if you ran)

Sometimes you will see 2 nature implings or more, and you won't be sure which one is actually the rare. Catch them all. If you see a magpie/ninja/pirate/dragon along with a nature impling, do not catch the nature, because it is on a different spawn and just wandered over to that side.

Another thing, do not loot magpie, ninja, or dragon. Magpies sell quite easily in ge at minimum price(about 17k) and ninjas sell for minimum (about 24k). And of course the dragons usually sell at market/minimum for 540k/520k each.

Always loot the "rare spawn" nature, so you get a loot(ranarr seeds sometimes) and still have space for a magpie+

You may not get any dragon on a load, just keep trying. I got 4 dragons on 1 load one time, then didn't get any another time.

ALWAYS hop after you get a dragon impling, that gives more of a chance to get more in that load.
If you have NOT done the quest "Rocking out", hop whenever you "make" a pirate impling spawn, because you cannot catch it and it is taking up the spawn for a dragon impling.

A load usually takes me an average of 45 minutes, and I get (on average) 2 ninja implings, 15 magpie implings, and 1 dragon. That's good for 45 minutes don't you think? :)

885,892 if you cannot read that.

I screenshotted another load so you guys get an idea of how much I get :)

    Now for other information.

Above, I said you shouldn't pot because yesterday, I saw a dragon impling at the same time as somebody else. I snared it, so it wouldn't run away. The guy got to the impling right before me, but couldn't catch it because his hunter level was lower than 83 and had to pot. As he was drinking his pot, I ran over and snagged the dragon impling. I laughed and he logged. :)

My inventory is, natures, water, earth(for snares), and jars when I leave the bank.

Want to hunt implings for a couple days and don't have enough jars?
Buy a bit of low level implings in ge(I buy baby implings). And whenever you bank the rare implings you got that load, take out as many free spaces as you have divided by 3. You can trade the gnome Elnock and he will give you 3 jars for every impling you give him.

    Then I get this

For every 100 implings i buy (300 jars) I make well over 20m. And taking out 6-8 every load for a full inventory of jars, it takes a while to use 300 jars.

Another thing, I made 11m yesterday in doing implings.
I made about 3.5m in magpies/ninjas and I managed to snag 13 dragons(7m) and about 500k in ranarr seeds from nature implings.

This is the end of my guide. Rate 10/10. Note this is my first guide, I just wanted to post for people that do not know.
Most people run around puro-puro all day like they are chickens with their head cut off thinking dragon implings spawn by themselves.

If I missed anything, please tell me.

Yes it is true that we make them spawn. They won't spawn unless we take the rare that is in it's spot first :)

Thanks everyone. I am uploading my video now.

    Guide to catching dragon implings

The Northeast, and Southwest have nature - pirate spawns. I didn't say anything about that because those corners do not spawn dragon.

And yes, after a while dragon implings DO teleport to other places. But if you have been running around that shouldn't happen.

That is not true about being 2 rare imps. There can only be 2 dragons in a world, but there can be 2 dragon and 1 ninja 1 magpie etc.

You make it sound like it takes hours to find a d imp. I almost always get one an hour, along with about 500k in other imps.
