Explanation of the trade: I purchased an account, spent two years grinding it to goat status, then had it recovered.
How they scammed:
I purchased an account from him May 2019. Attached are relevant messages.

A couple of days ago I got 99 herblore so I enabled 2fa that night. The next morning I logged on mobile to ensure I hadn’t died while training slayer. I was ok, at POH, and I went back to bed in real life. Within 4 hours my password was changed. I assumed this was due to 2fa, but since my registered email was not accessible at the time (previous college license expired)

Then, I reached out to the campus IT as well as to Gold2Us. The vendor has acted as if they were helping. However, I haven’t been able to recover with the “original information” they’ve given me. I’ve been declined using only the info since I’ve received account, and multiple attempts with the info they’ve given me in addition to my info. During our chat they gave me the OG email. Well, the OG email login they gave me is false. Google says the password has never belonged to that account. They claim to have been trying to recover my osrs account and would have it back by the end of day, yesterday 6/29. Haven’t heard back in almost 20 hours.

Look, i couldn’t care less abt my 100m bank.. Just sucks feeling like if I wouldn’t have just grinded some of the important 99’s, or if I never added 2Fa this wouldn’t have ever happened. Please let me know what else to include, or if there are ways to recover this. I was literally one off from 2k total. My user may say “newcomer” but i’ve shopped and lurked on Sythe forever and hate others are being affected by one person. All those hours..
