full smithing guide

Why smithing???
Smithing is a very long and expencive skill to train. I would say its the 2'nd hardest skill to trian for F2P (next to cb), and the 3rd for P2P (next to slayer and herbalore) . I know i probably discouraged u but read the next part. If you get this skill high (around 90) then you can make about 1mill per day or so :!: :!: If you ever become a smithing maniac and get ur smithing to 99 then..... you just won the jackpot at the casino. :!: :shock: :!: :shock: :!:

a fire staff (at lvl 50)(staff store in varok...i think its 2k)optional, suggested for speed
and lots of nats (at lvl 50)(GE around 250ea i believe)optional, suggested for speed

Lvls 1-30 (bronze and iron)
cheaper way
Try buying your own copper and tin ores, but i wouln't suggest this because almost no one sells them. Otherwise try mining them.
Smelt your ores into bars and make any items. If you want money back then make aurmor. Just the best aurmor you can make. then sell it to the general store. This is the best place to smith:
Image Get bars from the bank then go and smith them right below the bank. After u smithed all of your bars sell everything to the general store. This is why you should make armor.

Fast, Expencive way
If you want to save your time then buy 193 bronze bars and 439 iron bars.
Like shown in my Exp table you only need to make 193 bronze items. It doesn't matter what you make. You could either sell everything to the general store or try making sets and selling in GE.
Or if you don't want delays then just drop the stuff.
After you get 15 smithing make iron stuff till lvl 30, all of your bars should run out.
Grand Spending Total- 113,730 gp :shock:


Lvls 30-50
Money making, Very slow
If you dont have a lot of money left from the pervious section do this. Buy 300 iron ore and 600 coal. (any combination of x2 coal as iron ore will work). Make them all into steel bars and sell on GE. You will make some money, about 20-30k. When you have more money buy about 500 iron ore and 1000 coal. Then just keep on increasing the bulk to however much you can aford.

Expencive, faster
Buy your own steel bars and smith them. This is VERY expencive.
To get to lvl 50 you will need 2346 bars.

Lvls 50-70
Congradulations!! You can now make mith bars!!
In this section you have 4 choises

1) Lots of profit, slow trianing
REQUIRES LVL 60 MINING
Go into the mining guild and mine mith ore and coal. Bank them and make mith bars, then sell at GE. Easy. if you sell at market price they sell pretty quick.

2)Profit, faster lvls
43 mage required, 60 mining required
Buy a fire staff in varok staff shop. Then buy about 2000 nats from GE.
Equip your staff and keep your nats and pick in inventory.
Mine 1 mith ore and 4 coal, then super heat them. Repeat until your inventory is full of mith bars.
This decreases the amount of times you need to run to the bank.

3)Lose little money, even faster lvls
43 mage required
Buy around 200 mith ore and 800 coal from GE. Super heat all of them into bars. You dont even need to leave the bank, this is what makes it so fast.
Sell all the bars to the GE.
You will lose a little maoney because the profit you get pays for only about half a nat. So, insted of paying for a nat, you pay for only half a nat .

4)Super fast, BANKRUPT
Buy steel bars and smith them. Yes steel not mith. Acording to the prices you will get 25 extra exp for every 2 steel bars u buy. Total of steel bars needed 16,968!!!!
GST- 9,468,144 :shock: :shock: :shock: :cry:


Lvls 70-88
You have a couple of choises here:
1) Stick with the steel bars
2) #3 in the 50-70 section
3) (if your have a high mining lvl) Mine your own adamentite ore and coal, and smith
4) Buy adamentite ore and coal from GE, smith or super heat, then make into items. (Dont sell it, no one buys addy bars).
If you deside to do number 4.....
You will need 36,482 addy ore and 218,892 coal, if you smelt and smith it.
That will cost.... 81,829,126 gp. WELCOME TO HOBBOVILLE


Lvls 88-99 DEATH COMES ON SWIFT WINGS, MONEY BURNS

Your first goal should be lvl 90, at this lvl you can make rune scimmies and make about 1m per day.
Try anything that is above. If you are very rich i suggest buyying steel bars and smithing them. You need 25,615 steel bars.
Otherwise do #3 in the 50-70 section.

At lvl 90 i would suggest mining (mining lvl 85) 68 rune ore and (buying, mining) 544 coal per day.
Make them into rune bars, into rune scimmies, and sell at GE. After u get the 1 mill (counting that rune scimies are 30k ea) buy all the steel bars u can and smith them. Just do this till 99.

At 99 u will make more money than you spent for the whole skill.
You can make full rune sets and sell them,
Make full rune sets and go bounty hunting with them,
or anything else you can think of!

Mate, I must say this smithig guide is not very well-detailed, lousy explanations and no pictures. You don't even have colours to organize each sections. Futhermore, this guide is TOO common. I rate 5/10 for trying( this is damn sincere ). Also, the way you wrote this guide seems to be free rather than a sales guide.

 

that is ur opinion which i respect, but posting a pic of a rune bar or a rune ore is pretty pointless..
