Fastest crafting experience (75-99)

If anyone has seen my pure/skiller progress thread, you might be aware I'm currently pushing for 99 crafting. Starting yesterday at level 1 I've got to level 75 through a combination of leather items, cutting uncuts and making sapphire necklaces. By the time I finish all my uncuts, I should be around level 76.

My question is: What is the fastest possible way to reach 99, assuming cost is no issue?

I have 3.2k rubies, 5.7k emeralds and 8k sapphires cut, but in my experience making jewelry isn't particularly great experience. Cutting rubies I was getting upwards of 150k xp/h, if I remember correctly, so are higher level uncuts the best way to go? Dragonhide? Battlestaffs?

 

cutting diamonds/d stones is the fastest xp/h

unless you can get hold of bulk uncut onyx, but thats a bit unrealistic

 

I'm cutting around 1.8k gems per hour at the moment, and the trouble I've found with anything from diamonds upwards is the difficult of finding anyone selling bulk. The number of buyers far outweighs the number of sellers.

And when you can't find enough supplies to go for hours nonstop, it stops being the fastest exp because of the time wasted collecting the supplies.

I was thinking about d'hide, but not sure what the experience is like for that..

 

in pre eoc, i did blue boddies for 80-99 decent xp and cost wasent that bad, i have never cutted gems because its to expensive imo

 

Yeah, I don't have a problem with burning a bit of gold to get to the higher level options, which is what I've done, but even though I make a fair bit of money from merching I'd rather not spend 90m on uncuts to 99.

Although, it would be fast..

 

Gems is definitely the way to go. Dragonhides are even more expensive for less exp/h.

 

I'd say cuttin gems man. Super expensive method but it is the fastest

 

Cutting gems is the best method if you can afford it, as it's super quick and good xp. If you can't do battlestaves or dragonhide bodies.
