Duped My Character!!!

Hey everyone, I have no idea how i did it... i was recently alching because im lvl 98 mage and want 99 then i just moved spaces and it seemed that i duped myself... i couldnt click on it and it just stood still and was there for like 10 minutes! I have not yet done this glitch again but i just thought others might want to try. I know it wasnt lag because i have a good comp, am on my best world and he was there for like 9-10 minutes. well... heres a picture

 

well I don't see the dot on the map.... scary....

i have no idea! thats why i am telling others bout it cuz i wanna recreate it... ne1 have any ideas? i was alching and moved... btw that is a smithing cape!

 

I dont know, maybe it had something to do with you alching, then clicking on another part of the map. Weird, never have I seen that before.

i was alching, then i wanted moved and clicked on the the gate and then got out the gate... thats when i think it duped but i didnt notice till i clicked and got back so i was facing like i did in that pic... ive tried a few times, alching wile moving and not and havent gotten it to work again... maybe it has 2 be time but idk. post ur theories plz.

 

Wow, if that's real it's very rare. I've never once heard of this happening.

 

lol that would be sick if it duped into having all the same stats and bank ,etc.

i couldnt control the dupe... he just stood still but im guessing, since it was wearing the same 99 smithing cape, ill wear my bandos armor and try to do the glitch again and see if i can exploit ill tell every1 if i can figure it out.. in the meantime, why done other ppl see if they can >

 

graphical glitch, nothing to get excited about...

if it was a graphical glitch then why was it there even after i logged out and back in?

 

Same reason you used to be able to type a message, logout and still see it on that computer.

 

I suppose it didn't disappear because the duped you was just an orphaned graphics object, it wasn't connected to your account at all.

It probably got garbage-collected by the game engine after awhile.

idk wat u guys mean... but im gonna try to abuse the glitch and i think i mite know how 2 do it.. im gonna go test rite now
