    Not scammed however i think this needs to be addressed.
    Just tried to buy 07 gold from Searchy ([300$+ Donor][$20M+ USD Traded] Buying Bulk 07 Gold [PayPal/BTC/ETH/SEPA/UKBT/Skrill][7300+ Vouches]) via UKBT and he has asked me for my I.D. So UKBT if you send money to someone no matter what you cannot get it back thats a simple as that so all the risk is on the senders side.

    If i was to send him money through UKBT he would have my account number sortcode via the transaction. Providing him my I.D then gives him my bank details my name my address.

    This is not safe at all and for people who arn't too clued up in this area i think this is very dangerous and shouldnt be happening at all.

    He can sign up for credit cards with these details and intercept them in the mail this happens alot.

    He should not be asking for I.D with UKBT.

    I also asked him why he needs my I.D he said many reason buy wouldn' tell me.

    My first time posting one of these so if it is in the wrong place then please let me know.

    @klechk requesting ID is a common practice, even with a bank transfer. You are right, that your personal information could be abused, which is why you should thoroughly consider who you provide your personal information with.
    However, as I said above, it's a common practice for the reasons Zyzz and Plumber mentioned.
