Journey to Runecrafting Pet

So, on the first of September Jagex released some new skilling pets. And I saw that the Runecrafting one released. I am definitely going to be going for this pet, and with 99 Runecrafting already I hope my chances of getting it are good.

This thread will serve as both a motivator and documentation thread - to see how many Nature runes it takes me to get this awesome pet!!

Legit, Runecrafting is my favorite skill in the game and I've never botted before.

Yeah I know, probably the first person you've ever met that's favorite skill is RC lol.

 

Does it work like everytime you craft a rune there's a x/y chance you get it?

 

I think so, but I'm not sure how it works. I know it says every single time you craft a rune you have a chance of it popping, and the more you create per trip the better odds you get. But I don't know.
