Bought an account.. how safe will it be?

So I bought an account off of PA a couple weeks ago and I started to question myself on how much I could trust it.

I bought the account off of "haidi1408" which seems like a user who I could trust and it was one of the accounts that they made, "hand trained" to sell. The account was just a simple 70/70/70 attk/str/def to start off a main for myself because I was too lazy to start one up.


The account had a random email login, for example "[email protected]" but did not have any registered emails to the account. As soon as I received the info I went and was able to make that exact email login for the account, even though it was a crazy email address; it wasn't in use so I went ahead and made sure I had access to it/owned it.

I then registered an email with the account and changed the password. I also added the authenticator for extra security just in case.

So I logged into the account and noticed the account hadn't been logged in in 2 month, added a bank PIN and checked the quests and noticed that waterfall quest had been done(which means it had a membership on it at one point or possibly took advantage of the free membership access weekends?). To get as much info on the account that I could, I went right to Han in lumby and figured the exact day that the account was made(account was only 3 months old from the day I bought it). I also made the account members right after I checked all of that info.

All in all this is the info that I have for the account -

1st & 2nd password (the one they made it with and the one I changed it to)
account login email address
first registered email
first bank pin ( I think, unless there is a way to check and see if they had set one)
exact date account was created
2nd membership payment (more to come)

So from what I have vs. what they have/could have (first password/first membership payment/day account was made/and IP made on), would they be able to recover and over all keep the account at any time in the future? If anything, how trustworthy are haidi1408 accounts? Do you think they keep the info used to recover (IP address and payment for members mainly worried about) to use later on (months - years) to scam people? Or am I just being a little paranoid? I figured IF they were ever to recover the account I could hopefully re-recover it using the " have you moved recently? " and putting it all my actual info..

Hopefully I can get some feedback on this and maybe someone has bought an account off of them and could chime in? I appreciate any feedback though; and sorry if this is the wrong section; I will move it if it is.

Alright, well I figured he could but do you think what I have for info (and hopefully months - year+ of playing on my IP) would get the account back to me, using the " I moved" and putting the mo/yr of when I bought the acc? and making up some crazy excuse as to why someone else knows the IP it was made on and I don't.

 

no matter what you do he can recover it, after you play on it for a while you could probably recover it by saying you moved yea but they can look into it and ban it for acc selling

 

lol yeah with email address it uses I'm sure a big red flag would be thrown up. thanks for the reply. I'm going to take my chances and keep the gp on it at a minimum.

 

I refuse to buy accounts myself, but if the user is established on sythe and has been here a decent amount of time, the chance they recover it would be slim. It can always happen still though. I've sold 2 accounts here and I will never recover them, but that's just me. A lot of people don't plan on staying here for a long amount of time. Always be careful

 

As others have stated, OO is always able to recover. However; that's the #1 acc selling on PA & at the rate he produces acc's I HIGHLY doubt he hass record of creation details & such that would be required for him to recover the acc's he's created.
He sells probably more accounts than anyone on Sythe.
Anyway, you should be in good hands mate.

I thought the same thing honestly; they sell atleast 10 osrs accounts a week and I cant find one thing online about a account they sold being hacked/recovered back online. Going to take my chances and just keep the gp on the account to a minimum to be safe.

The user you are talking about is the first person iv ever bought gold from if i remember correctly. hes been around for ages

 

Obviously he can recover it at any time, he seems to have decent feedback so I think personally you are fine, as far as getting banned however, I doubt it, its not that great of an account and if you train it and use it on your home ip/mac for a long time, it will be unidentifiable in jagex's eyes, they don't give a fuck about that stuff.

 

With buying any account RS related or even other games related. The account owner can recover the account. This owner usually have the first password wrote down somewhere, all the information like IP, creation date, etc. Even if a person who has a good reputation on selling accounts can go rogue and still recover the account itself. Its best if you just grind your own account knowing you can secure it fully and no one can recover it other then you. Someone posted on Reddit, saying you don't even need those things, you only need two things to the account to recover it. If you searched for it i'm sure you'll find it. Their system is broken. But anyways, in my opinion. Never buy a account.

 

Don't be so paranoid, the email is a red flag but you should be fine. I doubt the seller would go rouge and take the account back.

 

Well from what I hear about PA if the owner recovers the account there really is no way to proof the OO recovered it and you'll end up with a case being closed in the seller's favor. Personal experience also happened with my friend with someone who had high rep on PA.

 

account was $30 and I wouldn't even try wasting my time on disputing it with PA... If they recover it idc about the account regardless what the levels will be... more concerned about how much gp I keep on it lol. hopefully if they do ever recover it I can get back on it and take everything in the bank off because it'll have the PIN.

 

Thats another thing, if you put any gold on it or something lol. It's just better to do your own account for a lot of reasons, also have you seen the amount of scammers?.. I mean $30 isn't a lot, but people scam for such a little bit lol.

 

its never safe mate dosent mean he has many vouches anything, cause he bought it off someone else the seller who sold to the PA seller sold it to you. if the first guy decide to recover/scam you need to have proof to show to the PA seller if he can recover it back tbh kinda risky imo

 

As previously stated Haidi is one of the most trusted in runescape sales.

However, err on the side of caution and don’t store too much wealth on it for at least half a year. Use an alt to hold your wealth.

 

The account is always recoverable by the original owner. If it's just a 70/70/70 dump away account, I wouldn't worry about it.

 

They train the accounts to get to that level and put them up for sale, it's their source of income. I guarantee you he has completely forgotten every single detail about the account. But to answer your question, yes he can recover it. My opinion? He won't.
