BIS Items for a 42 Def pure?

Making a low level 15 Pray 42 Defence account what would be ideal melee pking gear?

Baring in mind I would be unskulling

Rune Helm
Torture
Torso
Rune Legs
D Scim
B Ring (I)
Rune Defender
Rune Boots
F Cape/Ardy Cloak
D Claws for spec weapon

 

as you stated, those are the BIS. could use slay helm (i) also same as rune full helm but no risk

 

Potentially use the Rune God Armour (such as bandos full helm) for the rune helm & legs as they both give +1 prayer bonus each, it might come in handy when conserving prayer on a 15 pray account.
But thats a bit more risk, so I don't know if its worth it.

 

i guess, not really more of a risk, if u leave an offer in they will slowly buy for even less than reg rune platelegs. (skirts tend to sell cheap)

Why melee? 42 def with void and range is OP

 

I would always get 45 def.

 

Because of the combat I'm staying I can get 94 Range and not level up but will need to be cannoned, don't think I have that commitment haha

Imo 42 or 45 doesn't matter unless you are prodding the account.

 

I'm making the account to sell so the time taken and C Ball cost won't raise the accounts value by enough to warrant the effort.

60/81/42/80/15/94

45 Defence really isn't worth it until your maxed, the bonus from Zerker helm won't increase your max hit in most scenarios but the extra 3 defence levels will raise your combat.

Are you really getting your moneys worth in terms of pay:time? I made one of these early last year with 16 pray and it consumed many many hours.

 

Worth a quick watch -

I genuinely just enjoy the grind and making different accounts. I play 3/4 account's a time, 1 money making, my main I'm trying to max, 1 afk and the I'm currently questing this one. I bought the account with 94 mage which is the biggest time consumer, and 100QP has took me around 4 days just putting a couple of hours in after work, I honestly don't think the build will take long at all and should see a hefty profit once sold.

 

I'd recommend staying 42 def, I've had both accounts and 42 has always been better IMO. @RS4Me thats a great video
