Barrel training? on osrs

Seen a video about it for 10 hp accounts/obby maulers.
How good would it be for gmaulers? curently 75 str? Would i be better off at sand crabs?

 

Barrel training keeps your hp low. If you want an overpowered mauler do barrels and keep your HP down. If you save yourself for example 15hp that's like 5 combat levels lower with same Str.

 

To barrel train you need to be able to enter the Warriors Guild so need a combined Attack and Strength of 130 or 99 Strength so it's only good for post 99 Experience for the accounts you mentioned.

The barrel method isn't afk at all, but like Dieze said doesn't give you any HP xp. So if you don't mind the clicking It will give you a higher Strength (and lower HP) for your Combat making your account stronger.

 

It is not Afking at all if you dont mind clicking the entire time youre on youll have good progress.

 

the only time to train strength via no hp methods is if ur making an range/gmauler or straight up rusher.

 

I botted 85-90 str at barrels was getting 40k xp per hour

 

Only worth at barrels if you need low hp, otherwise just go to sand crabs and afk it.

 

Could someone tell me what barrel training is? Have i missed out on something new?

 

It is minigame in the warrior guild (where you get defenders) in the second floor at the man that you get from him the strenght cape for 99 ,this minigame depends on energy you take energy potions with you you start it by picking up 1 barrel and put it on your character and you need to keep the energy level at 100 , you get about 30-45k experience per hour depending on your strenght level .

 

What are the min requirements to start this training? Can it be done from level 50ish?

 

There is no min req for this mini tho you must have a total 130 combination of you combat levels means your attack str and defence have to be 130 or more combined

It's only Attack and Strength that get combined to reach the 130 not Defence, at least I'm pretty sure, if not my whole life has been a lie
