Best place to auto click cannons?

Hi.

I am 81 range at the moment, going for 99.
I want to do auto clicking with cannon until 99.

Where's the best spot. I want maximum AFK, so basically somewhere like ogres, where I won't get attacked

 

Google "afk cannon osrs" I'm sure there's tons of results.

I don't do NMZ because I only last 3 hours or so there with absorbs, and I really want something where I can turn on my auto clicker - go to uni - come back 6 hours later and my character is still going

Do the quest Biohazard and get access to the caged ogres in King Latha's camp.
If its done already, you're good to start hopping for a free world... best thing to do.
Or you can try the Castle Wars Ogres as well - no quest requirement there and nothing should hit you.

What are you going to do about cannon repairs though?

 

doesn't clicking on the canon repair it? I thought leaving an auto clicker on would reload AND repair

It does not. You can only leave a cannon placed for 25mins. After 25mins it breaks unless you pick it up and drop it again.

Cows in lumbridge. JSand is wrong you can click to repair every 30 min.

 

I apparently missed a quality of life update on the cannon. Once it decays fully you can repair it now instead of picking it up and dropping it.

It’s still not fully AFK because you’d have to repair it.
