Barrows gloves and 175 Quest points...

So I just found out you need 175 Quest points to get barrows gloves. I have always thought doing all of the required quests would put me at 175 quests points minimum, and thats why I thought people always said they are a pain to get...

Anway, I am currently on mithril gloves and I have 94 quest points. I really have done no quests, other than what I need for pking. My main quests so far have been RFD, MM, DT, and The Void Stares Back. All of these quests have loads of prequests, but on an account like this, it looks like after I finish through dragon gloves I will have around 115 quest points. Do most pure accounts/zerkers run into this problem? This means I am going to have to do around 30-50 quests for no reason other than to get quest points? Please correct me if I am wrong...

 

Go onto Rune HQ and look under the reward section and do all quests that have the highest quest points without rewarding Def exp. Once you've done that, do quests that get cool items like: Crystal bow, Zanik's Crossbow, Barrelchest Anchor, these quests tend to have a lot of pre-quests and will keep you busy. If you still haven't hit 176* do quests that give Exp in skills that you don't enjoy (Farming for me)
